WOW This is really cool! I just purchased from Wal-Mart a Creative Nomad MuVo NX (128 MB) MP3/WMA, recoder player for $68 dollars. Newer ones 256MB, are much better but more money. (LCD Screen, and much cheaper if bought through the Internet Stores.)
This fits into the a closed fist; it is that small. I also had some small old inexpensive Labtec computer ampifier speakers (Works on batteries). This recorder plugs into a USB port and I drop and drag royalty free magic music clips, or any song I desire. It's acts like an instant mini show-tech remote all for under $50 (Internet price), and sounds great. My mind is racing for all the possibilities. It's so much easier than burning a CD and using a CD player. There are even cheaper ones with 32 MB capability; an hour of recordings. Here's how I tryed it. I copied a 24 MB song to my hard drive. Ran it through the suppied music converter and it reduced it size to 3 MB or about 1 MB per minute of play time. I then did this with my magic music playlist and it worked great. Now I must try it with a my remote mic and see if it works that way. Goodby Boom Box!
