My nearly normal wife got me a yo-yo for my birthday last year. While looking through my magic, I found it.
Over the weekend I started playing with it and got a few books and dvd's on "tricks". I came up with a cut and restored string. That came easy. Multiplying, color changes and juggling also came to mind. Any other suggestions for this interesting prop? Harris Deutsch Laughologist

Jason Byrne does a nice trick with a yo-yo in his dove act on World's Greatest Magic (I think number 3) He produces a yellow ball then gets a little bit of string and turns them into a yo-yo. He does a few moves with the yo-yo then changes the yellow yo-yo into a yellow dove with a string attached to it. It is pretty effective and he does it all very smoothly.

Tape or glue a card to the side of your yo-yo and the audience will think the card is floating down and back up to you!
Thanks to Tommy Wonder for this "Wonderful" idea!~r2 |
