Dave, this is Don from ohio, I just finished watching the "E" true hollywood story about rocky the raccoon and he was talking about during the height of his fame, (around the time of worlds greatest magic 3) how he gave into to binge drinking womanizing and gambling, I just want to say that even though that furry little guy gave into the temptations of fame, you are still very cool and down to earth. How has restaraunt magic shaped you as a performer? From what I understand you went through an evolution of sorts because certain things didn't work in restaraunts could you tell us about that please? Also will you be at the magi-fest?
p.s. is it true that rocky the raccoon has moved to silicon valley and given up drugs, female raccoons, and shiny objects, to lead a more spiritual life? |

Hi Don,
you weirdo. He's given it all up save for the shiny objects. Yes, I plan to come to the Magi-Fest to steal pizzas in the lobby after the Sat night show. Yum. how has restaraunt magic shaped me as a performer? I'd say slightly pear-shaped. Seriously-it's my roots. that's where I figured out how people react to this stuff. We all go through an evolution in this field-mine happed in restaraunts and dinner theaters. I went from heavy technically toward the other end of the spectrum where entertainment value and audience reaction rules. Hope to see you there Don so I can dare you to do crazy stuff. |
