Topic: Small Rabbit Carrier
Message: Posted by: Decomposed (Feb 16, 2005 12:03PM)
I'm looking for an on-line dealer for a small rabbit travel carrier. I got tired of carrying the pet taxi around that is made for dogs and cats. I bought a small cloth type rabbit carrier but the zipper already busted.

Thanks Regan. Petsmart graciously exchanged my defective one.

If you can find them I recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top, itís a lot easier and less painful to get the rabbit out quickly.

I use a wicker basket to carry my bunny around.
During the winter I cover the basket with a thick insulated material. During the summer the basket let air through the wicker to keep the bunny cool.

You might want to look into Barry Mitchell's Bunny Cage. Not only does it look like a bunny cage, it is a bunny production box. (Opps forgot the rabbit... Abracadabra ... the bunny appears and it pops the balloon automatically.)

Thanks for that link Dennis.
I like the looks of it.
Not a bad price either.
