Topic: Anyone else see Doc Dixon at the Funnybone? Hilarious Show.

I just got back from a visit to Pittsburgh and was happy to have the surprise chance to catch Doc Dixon headlining at the Funnybone Comedy Club at Station Square to pretty much a sold out house. Anyone else here ever have the chance to see his comedy club show? If you get the chance to catch him near you, do so.

I've known Doc for quite some time, but I have not had the chance to see him perform in the past few years, until last week. The show was all new stuff to me. Hilarious. I really admired the way he mixed in superb sleight-of-hand in a comedy club atmosphere -- a venue where most magi resort to throw away tricks and gags. He left the crowd laughing and scratching thier heads.

Doc's known well in the magic community for his "Everything is Funnier with Monkeys" book and magic lectures and for good reason. However, if you have the chance to catch him in the "real" world with a "real" audience, he'll really knock your socks off and make you laugh... hard.

Thanks for makiing me laugh Doc!

I too have seen Doc's show, and it is hilarious! He is a very gifted and funny magician, and well worth seeing if you get the chance. I saw your show at the GPMN banquet a couple years ago as well, Nick, and you've got a great show as well! Magic is alive and well in the Pittsburgh area!

You can also usually see Doc work at the Greater Pittsburg Renaissance Festival. See his show!

I'll be headlining at the Funnyfarm in Boardman, OH (near Youngstown) April 15 and 16. This a comedy club, not a mental health facility. I just stopped at least 3 of you from posting an obvious joke ;o)

Would love to meet up with some local magi. Click on http://www.funnyfarmcomedyclub.com for details.

Working hard,

Doc Dixon
