I have just sent a PM (I assume this stands for private mail). Where is it stored and how can I tell if there is a response to my reply?

actually it is under, you are logged in as......... and it is stored in the data base until you delete it. Mya :cuteangel:

Just so there's no confusion, both the messages you send and the ones you receive are stored in the database. Once they are sent, you will not be able to edit or delete them, only the recipient can delete their messages.
