Topic: Another beauty in Impossible Objects

Optical illusion this time, but I'd love to have one in my show case.

It's a proper model and not just a drawing. Didn't take me long to work out but this is very clever optical illusion.

Have a look.

Cool! Looks like you've taken Escher to 3-d.

There are five paper models of impossable objecs at the bottom of this page. They don't work from every angle, but they photograph beautifully.

The models look cool, I've downloaded them and can't wait to have a go at making them. Thanks for sharing

Wow, those are great. I think making them would be a lot of fun. I wonder if alternate materials - plastic, cardboard, etc, instead of just paper would last longer and allow you to make bigger models. Any other ideas for building materials?

I have a website of impossible bottles and other objects at http://www.impossibottle.co.uk. They are made by many makers including Harry Eng. A list is available on the 'gallery' page.

Nice pic Mehtas. Thanks for the posting. Acamp, I had never thought of the cool challenge of trying to make these. I always just enjoyed looking at the pictures and trying to figure them out. Thanks for opening my eyes.
