This is an event that I am helping to organise in January 2006,

It's going to be a fantastic day - See you there!

The Session is an exciting new one day convention taking place in Gloucester on 15 January 2006, focusing on close-up magic. Come and learn from a line-up of international close-up performers including Lee Asher, Kostya Kimlat, Tyler Wilson and Andi Gladwin, with more to be announced in the coming weeks. Register before 15 November for an exclusive discount, or nearer the time for just £40 - includes a full day of intimate lectures and shows, plus food at midday and early evening.

Lee Asher - needs no introduction. Always a fantastic lecturer with fresh ideas and tricks that range from self working to exceptionally difficult. His videos and lecture notes are bestsellers.

Kostya Kimlat - a phenomenal close-up worker from Florida in the USA. He is one of the slickest and most dynamic performers to emerge in a long time.

Tyler Wilson - best known at the moment for his numerous tricks and original creations published in Magic and Genii. Tyler is from Canada and like his countrymen Sankey, Sanders and Acer manages to be extremely funny as well as being unbelievably creative. This is Tyler's first time in the UK.

Andi Gladwin - last year Andi lectured at Magic Live in Las Vegas and at the invitational TSD convention in Atlanta, Georgia. He has some fiendishly good ideas and this is the only time in the foreseeable future you are going to get to see him lecture in the UK.

More performers to be announced.

Keep an eye on the website:

Hey Rob,

I don't know if the U.K. can handle a crew like this one.

I have had the opportunity to hang out with all of the gentleman above and I can tell you this convention sounds like it is going to be a wild time.

Please, if you are lecturing, do try to keep your pants on. We would not want another unpleasant scene like the one we saw in Orlando.

Let there be light. And try not to let Kostya walk on water, it makes the audience uncomfortable.

Make sure your health insurance is up to par. You’re going to need it with this group.

And one more thing to all of you,

Have a great time, and I am very upset that I cannot make the trip. Unless of course I too can learn to walk on water.

To all of you here at the Café,

If you can swing it, I highly recommend that you drop what you are doing immediately and make plans to attend this event. The magic is fresh, and this spectacle of personalities is going to make this one of the most entertaining events to come along in some time.

Later Tater,

Robert Moreland

Robbie: I'll get straight onto the insurance company! :)

Lee: The website seems to work for me. Is it still down for you? Maybe it was a temporary glitch?

Hope to see some of you at the convention!
