Topic: Free cards - CAJ Deck
Message: Posted by: cajmagic (Apr 11, 2006 08:06PM)
Since a lot of discussion is here about the CAJ deck vs the FAKO
deck vs the Penguine deck.

I will send a sample - The Crazy Kings trick (just the cards
- the tricks are self evident) - so you can see some cards -
Great red Bike Back cards and great tricks.
I am better than the other decks! I got real magic in mine!

Send a stamped self addressed, stamped (With 63c in postage
- not just 39C - its an ounce) envelope to

Caj Magic
3763 E Colorado Blvd
Pasadena, CA 91107

I can't keep this offer good forever - but I will until I run out of
KINGS Cards (and I have about 200 or so sets to give as promotions)

and don't be greedy - 1 per person (and don't send one for
your wife/girlfreind/dog/cat/mother/friends mother.... be fair)

Free Cards - Now whose deck is better?

This is really nice of you. Thanks for this and I'll make sure to post about the cards. My envelope will go out in the morning. Thanks again.

Take it from somebody who owns the CAJ deck and uses many of the cards often; You will not be disappointed! This deck opened up an entirely new realm for me in gaff card magic.

Excellent quality and brilliant concepts! What more could you ask for?

I agree, I especially love the Infitnite Zero cards.

In fact I use one of them in my video 'Shape of My Heart', the link to which you can find in my signature.

Cards were well made and the booklet was more than informative.

Take care,

CAJ, do you do international postage?
Message: Posted by: Philipp K (Apr 12, 2006 03:03PM)
Yeah CAJ,
I'd be interested too but (un)fortunately am from Germany.

Message: Posted by: Reis O'Brien (Apr 13, 2006 07:15AM)
Aaaahhhhh , Logan! I had forgotten about that video! That is so very cool!
Message: Posted by: Logan (Apr 13, 2006 08:06AM)

Thanks buddy!

It wouldn't have been what it is if it weren't for the CAJ Deck.

Take care,

So how big of envelope do I send?

Thanks for your generosity!

Message: Posted by: cajmagic (Apr 13, 2006 02:05PM)
International people - send either $2 - or send 2 euros if that's easier (I know a euro is more than a dollar)

If you can get US stamps - postage is $1.83

Sorry - to answer the last post - these are cards so any "card size" envelope will be fine

I do suggest smaller envelopes (#9's) verses larger ones (#11's) - cards don't slide around as much.
Message: Posted by: brokin6 (Apr 13, 2006 03:10PM)
Not to get off topic but that was an amazing video Logan. I didn't catch the references at first but when I saw the A/H I had to watch the video over. Very nice indeed.
Message: Posted by: Logan (Apr 13, 2006 06:35PM)

Thanks my man. The CAJ deck opens up a lot of possibilities for your card work and you'll be brimming with ideas as you go through the deck.

The CAJ Deck is responsible for the 'kicker' in the video. Imagine what you could do with such cards!

Take care,

So, I send a SASE with $2 inclosed? Or...

Sorry for all my questions :(

Message: Posted by: ToasterofDoom (Apr 14, 2006 04:42PM)
Yay!! Free stuff!!
Message: Posted by: acmp (Apr 14, 2006 04:53PM)
Wow fantastic offer!

Would you take paypal?
I was thinking aroung $3-$4 for an envelope + posting to the UK.

No worries if not, just thought it would be easier than 2 international postings.
Message: Posted by: absynth (Apr 14, 2006 08:37PM)
Got to say, mine is on the way. I have had the CAJ deck on my wish list for some time. What a great utility deck to add some kickers like Logan in his fantastic Shape of My Heart Video. Good stuff!

I cannot wait to receive this...

I PMed you CajMagic...waiting for a response :P

Far too generous! I will be sure to write a review when I get it!

I sent you my envelope today. I am in Canada, so I just included a SASE with sufficient US Postage back to Canada.

I put a small piece of cardboard inside my SASE so the envelope is more resilient in transport.
Message: Posted by: TannerJade (Apr 17, 2006 06:28PM)
O, ok!

I will do the same thing then ;)

I got my cards today - they're excellent!!!
Message: Posted by: TannerJade (Apr 17, 2006 09:34PM)
How big of envelope did you send?

Thanks so much!

Message: Posted by: Kaylan (Apr 17, 2006 11:28PM)
You just need to send an envelope big enough for a small stack of playing cards.
:) Kaylan

To Everyone

thank you for all the PM's - here is everyones answer all at once

send $2 or 2 euros (OK - make it one Euro - that's about $1.50)or $2 australian dollars or 2 Canadian dollars (I know its not all the same - just send what ever is convienient)
You can pay-pal me $2 also (that I do want $2 as Paypal takes 40c and I have to address the envelope (Time)

BUT the best way - is an envelope with 63c postage on it
(63c being significantly less that $2)

AND a addressed envelope that will hold 10 cards -
which means just about any envelope

Thank you all for your very nice comments and praise for the dek. I did work hard on it - I developed it as a trick deck taking the best thought of the tricksters and the magicians. Your comments are appreciated.

I second that.....I used the cards and a surprise kicker with the "twilight zone assembly". Very good quality cards, the white even last longer than my blank cards.

Just received my cards today. These are great. I'm going to have to order the full deck with routines now.

Very nice cards.

Bought a deck of these at Hank Lee's conclave this weekend. WOW doesn't even cover it. The booklet that comes with the deck shows just the tip of the iceberg of what can be done with these cards. I for one am a very happy man.
Message: Posted by: TannerJade (Apr 25, 2006 08:50AM)
I sent the money via PayPal
Message: Posted by: Vater Araignee (Apr 25, 2006 11:10AM)

I got these cards a few days ago. They're really nice and great quality. Now I just have to figure out some routines to do with them. I'm definately considering getting the whole deck. Thanks a lot for being so generous!

P.S. Does anyone know where I can watch a performance of the Crazy Kings trick on the net? I searched but couldn't find anything on MVD. Thanks.

What's to consider? These cards that he has sent you, as cool as they are, are really just the tip of the iceberg considering the multitude of other killer gaffs you get in the deck.

I urge ALL of you guys who have seen the quality of these cards to buy this deck NOW!

You will not regret it.
Message: Posted by: landon (May 5, 2006 06:12PM)
You're right, I should just get them! Unfortunately I'm on a tight budget and there is so much I want but chances are I will get these. I'm really curious to see the other cards! Hopefully within the next month.

Great Cards! Thanks so very much!

Now for the full deck :)

Message: Posted by: absynth (Jun 5, 2006 07:45PM)
These are really great as so many have indicated. If these unique gaffs are indicators of the rest of the deck, I have been sold. CAJ deck to the wishlist.
Thanks CAJ for the great offer.
Message: Posted by: Suave Dan (Jun 8, 2006 11:57PM)
Thanks for the cards. Mine arrived a while back, but I haven't had a lot of time to play with them until recently. Vewry high quality. I will pick up a CAJ deck when I go to my local magic shop next week. I might even pick up a few. They'd make good gifts for magic buddies.

Mine just came today. I LOVE THEM!2!
but I see some odvise ides for tricks but my tick ideas suck! I need Ideas to get the creative jouices flowing. I recive all the kings. Help
Message: Posted by: Magiguy (Jun 12, 2006 06:03PM)
The best advice I can give you is to encourage you to purchase an entire deck of the CAJ cards. For just $20 you'll get an entire deck of these beauties plus 16 tricks and many, many additional ideas. If you like the kings, you'll love the rest.

The way I use them (the deck comes with a book) is that the 2 king cards with the "CENTER RIBBON" of another card (one front - one back) go together so 2 cards look like 3 - Fanned to left they are 3 cards - to the right they are 2 cards

Use the 2 gaff cards with a regular card (I included a normal King of Diamonds)

Use Magicians Choice to eliminate a card (Its late but I thing the King of Hearts is the one to eliminate)

Show that the king of Hearts has sailed accross the room - or hidden inside a box or somthing (Actually you hid a King of Hearts priorto doing the trick somewere)

The double indexed cards (or the 4 card back) can be used also to force a different disapear or aid in the magicians choice

I just got the sample cards in todays post. Wow! Caj, you definitely have some winners here. I've not worked with gaffed cards heretofore, but I'm definitely warming up to the idea, playing around with these!

Thanks a bundle!

That was one of the best magic deals I ever came across! Gaffed cards for the cost of an SASE? Get out of town!

Thanks! The cards are really beautiful!
Message: Posted by: CardShark2004 (Jul 4, 2006 12:19PM)
Caj if you still have any left I'd definitely be interested and will be sending my SASE right away! This is a great deal. Very generous of you.
Message: Posted by: CardShark2004 (Jul 4, 2006 12:36PM)
Ok I just made SASE with 63 cents postage, and put in a bigger envelope with regular 39 cents postage and will put it in the mail tommorow. Thanks again.

I set aside 200 for promotion - have only sent about 50 so at this rate - it will be open for several more months -

Great, Caj! I was sure I'd missed it.

Mine's on the way. I really look forward to finding out what everybody's been raving about.
