Thanks to Neil Rozum, program chairman, Ring 23 in Cleveland (The Blackstone Ring) is where I will be doing a mini silk lecture on May 3rd. While I read about the magicians there, I never get to see them. This one is a lecture I'm really looking forward to making early enough to meet the guys in person. This is a busy group.

For people coming up for the 15th International Battle of Magicians starting May 4th, this one is timed perfectly for the night before and only 50 miles away from Canton.

Perhaps I should mention the admission charge: FREE! Thanks to Ring 23.

We are packing tonight to start north. Give me a chance to meet you. See you there.

Shall I order some snow in your honor?

Richard,

It's going to be hard enough for an Alabama boy to wear a long sleeve shirt. No snow please! Then I would have to wear shoes in May!

Should I bring Grits?

I don't think you will need them for traction under your tires. Gosh knows grit is what we call sand or chicken feed.

Richard,

See you in Ohio. I have to be in Lexington the 7th (next day) so I will cut out very early Sunday morning. But three days with me as your neighbor ought to be about all you can take!

Come see us at SEAM 2006 in August and I'll show that grits are groceries!
