Topic: 3 card monte Ending
Message: Posted by: Ben Train (Oct 23, 2006 08:59PM)
First let me clarify- Im talking about 3 card monte for theatrical performance.

Im wondering what endings people have played with.

Here are the following that I have/am experimenting with.

Bent corner
Torn Corner
The money card disapering
The money card changing into an indiffrent card.
all the cards changing into money cards.
the money card changing into a jumbo card
The cards changing into bills
The card backs changing colour

Im wondering if anyone has explored anything diffrent.

All the best,
Ben

Bob Kohler has an interesting ending that can be found on the Scoundrels notes.

I usually end up (after the bent corner) with showing all the cards as "money cards" and then all as indifferent. This is accomplished with hyping all three cards from one hand.

Sometimes I follow the bent corner with marking the "money card" with a scrap of a Post-It note.

Don't forget the one way deck (scoundrels notes). the cards are taken from a one way deck and the money card is the wrong way around. When the sucker bets, it is an indifferent card.

Letting the spectator glue a stamp on the back of the money card (really!!!), which is of course on the back of another one at the end.
