Gotta start with the Magic Café.

That said, there's a couple or three:

http://lifehacker.com/

http://consumerist.com/

http://boingboing.net/

and the ever-fascinating forums (especially the ones local to my area - check out your area) http://www.chowhound.com/ (go to "Boards")

I'll second http://www.lifehacker.com/ , and I'd also like to recommend:

http://www.neatorama.com/

http://presurfer.meepzorp.com/

These two sites feature various places on the web, like boingboing, except you see the sites earlier, and there is much less whining.

A couple of sites I literally can't live without, as they are sources of financial income for me are:

http://www.prosper.com/

http://www.cafepress.com/

I will second the Threadless post.

I must also extra-second the Neatorama post. I'm a big fan of http://www.neatorama.com

I also like to check my email. I feel like it's a good thing to do now and again, so I'll add http://www.comcast.net

And the cartoon nut in me possesses me to visit http://www.animated-news.com/ often.
