Very interesting Mr Bond......

Do you rip the page out in front of them? Or do you just bring out a ripped page? Can the page be different every time?
Message: Posted by: archini (May 9, 2007 06:24AM)
Indeed..... Could it be a doughnut instead?

Sorry I'm in a giddy mood today. It does look fantastic. I must admit I am always warey (however it's spelt) of adverts that show reactions and not the actual effect but I understand that sometimes the actual performance may give too much away for knowlegable magicians. However I look forward to being pleasantly surprised 'cos Michael is a nice lad.

Many thanks for the kind comment John (I owe you a pint!) The page is produced from your wallet! IE It's almost a walkaround booktest style effect but totaly different in presentation and effect if you know what I mean????????

There is no reason why you couldn't have the pages put into a book or printed in a book and tear them out! This has been suggested in the other thread. There is only one page used but you can take the principles from the effect and create others as I'm in the middle of doing myself!

Hope this helps! and let me know if you need any more info!

Many thanks for the interest, it is a purchased effect which comes with two specially printed pages torn from a book and an 18 page instruction booklet!

I saw Michael perform this at the South Tyneside Convention in March. This is fantastic Mentalism, I was really fooled, as was everyone else judging by their faces.

I got the Beyond ESP2 deck and love it. I got Deep Astonishment 2 after seeing the demo on Magicbox and love it. Now I'm waiting for Between the Lines to fall through the door with every expectation of loving this too.

Mr Murray is having a very magical effect on my credit card!

I feel honoured.... second attempt today.... my card was rejected yesterday I'm sure I had 15 in the bank? The bank said it was an anti-fraud measure? apparently it is out of character for me to spend money and the computer flagged it up?
I'm heading to London in the morning so may have to wait till I get back to play with it....

I received this today after a bit of a mix up with Royal Mail (still the best postal service this country has). It seems pretty much exactly as it reads in the preview page. You do not have to carry around any big props, just the page. You can use various outs to boost the hit rate & the text is well written to enable a highest possible hit rate too. The only difficult part will be memorising the script but it also has many possiblities as to how you can perform this. At the moment I'm thinking of designing a postcard which has the scene as the picture & the text on the back.

Great effect and love the thinking behind it, just a bit of advice though, been carrying mine round in my wallet and the ink has started to fade a little, which leaves it quite hard to read... but fair play you get two pages so once I realized I took better care of the other one. really good effect though, and clever thinking.
Message: Posted by: Mental_Mike (Jul 10, 2007 01:45PM)
That's like me...I folded one and the ink in the middle faded a bit so now I just keep it unfolded in an envelope that it fits in perfect.
Message: Posted by: MagicSteve84 (Oct 12, 2007 07:47AM)
Are we able to copy the two pages so we have back-ups in case the ink fades or I lose my wallet?

I am very curious about this effect.

I believe that as long as you have the original, Michael and Magicbox are happy to send out packs of 5 (I think) duplicate pages.

Get in touch with them about it here:

Many thanks for asking the question! For those who have purchased the effect I am more than happy with you copying the page! I've even had two customers translate the page so that it may be used in other countries!

Best Wishes Michael

Hi Michael,
I have BTL and must say that it is a marvelous effect! However I am disapointed with the quality of the ink used. Not only does it fade but it also rubs off on your (or your audience's)fingers. Will you be speaking to your printers about this?
Message: Posted by: niva (Oct 23, 2007 02:05AM)
It's two weeks and I am still waiting for mine from Magicbox and I only live in Malta :(
Message: Posted by: lochmann4522 (Mar 1, 2018 10:46AM)
Has the page been translated to german?

I have the book a Piece of my Mind. On page 72 it gives a URL to download a PDF for printing between the lines. Where can I get this information as the URL doesn't seem to work?

1031ent...... I have just spoken to Michael. If you email him direct, he will sort you out with the file ;)
