I noticed that the music used in the bonus footage of the Buck Twins was also used in an Ellusionist DVD (stigmata) and just when I thought to myself "My those boys do enjoy standing around deserts flourishing their cards standing back to back.." that I thought... hmmm... they probably filmed that at the same place they filmed the 1800's deck promo for Ellusionist, if not the same day. Plus, the thread about this on the E forums got deleted without a word. So my theory (ha...ha... get it?) is that E is probably affiliated with this project. Plus, I heard something a long time ago about Kenner wanting to do a project with E. |

On decknique, the mods even go as far as to delete posts containing information regarding how to solve the puzzle. While I don't want it to get that severe here at the Café, I would appreciate it if you could remove the tutorial. |

Hey all, I bought the DnD trilogy yestaday, it has not even arrived yet and I stumble upon this. I must say it's some very clever marketing. I Have read this whole thread and found the 'phantoms' page and watched the video. That asher guy talks about creating magic. It struck me that 'theory11' could be a 'system' or a 'way' of creating magic for ones self? As I said I literally discovered this thread 10 mins ago so I may have missed something. What do others think? |

When they asked me for my theory 11 and I said. "My theory is that there are only 6 horses in the entire world, but they can secretly move so fast it appears that there are many of them." I had a few other theories but Lee Asher and the Buck Twins threw cards really hard at me till I left the ultra secret hideout in Canada before I could tell them my other really cool theories. Saucy Ham was my theory on making a suitable flavor sauce for ham just by eating a tiny bit and regurgitating it with a few other things to make it the most perfect sauce ever. I think they left it in anagram form to haunt me. If anyone wants the recipe pm me. If anybody else has a cool batcave style hideout and would like some pointless theories I forgot my number so email me and we'll discuss this over saucy ham and scones. M:C |

I did a search and found that 444 is a prefix used in Vegas. So with 702 being the area code, it could be 702-444-0831. Under the whitepages.com site, I did a reverse number lookup. It says its a land line and that the number is unpublished. So whoever owns it wants it private. Hmmm. I highly doubt this is even a single effect what we know is: 1. weve never seen dan and daves magic before 2. its a "theory" or a concept from the underground 3. chris kenner and lee asher were also in on the project, among many other big names probably I doubt there would be so much hype and production value over a dan and dave product if the trilogy was just released. since dan and dave are also card guys who specialize in impromptu, visual stuff, I doubt theres so much hype over more card effects. my guess is it's a new type of ellusionist with a big twist. kenner and the bucks met with ellusionist last year to possibly talk about this, and the bucks and ellusionist are now at a disagreement over the bucks only selling to ellusionist. I forget exactly when but brad christian mentioned meeting with lee asher in a newlsetter or something. I think it was like a year and a half ago. I'm guessing the theory11 group wanted ellusionists medium and customer base to work with this project and it didn't work for either side. idk, just my 2 pennies but I think it makes sense. who knows |

Good morning all. Reading this thread and following along has been a lot of fun. Perhaps the release date is a little earlier. Going along with some of the clues, light after darkness and such, there is going to be a total lunar eclips on 8/28. All this talk about what they might be planning gave me interesting idea. Kind of like the Paul is Dead stuff with the Beatles. Create a site, fill it with vague creepy images and point some people to it. Let them start coming up with meanings from their imaginations. Follow along a forum where they discuss their ideas. Create some new vids based on thier ideas, add so more vague stuff, rinse and repeat. I think you guys with your wonderfull imaginations and logic are creating Theory 11 for them. All they have to do is prime the pump, and follow your ideas. Luckily, there are some very creative minds here. :) That's my theory. I don't have a number for it yet but perhaps you guys can help me out with that. JPK |

However if you check the ? page and the normal page the two source codes are different. From what I can see, the lunar eclipse ends at roughly 8.24am E.S.T meaning the shadow passes and the moon will be entering the light. I believe Musha Cay is in E.S.T. I could be wrong. Just a silly thought I had when view in the videos. Probably nothing. A couple of shots in the videos show lighing that resemble star shape patterns. The bit about shadow passes, light remains, the 0831 or 8:31am would be the time of day when the total lunar eclipse will end on Musha Cay. Like I said probably nothing. Astronomical events have always been viewed as predictors of major changes. Perhaps the release of new theory on magic should be timed with such an event. JPK |

WOW, I missed a lot last night. So we get Vasari, which gave us a phone number. Call the number and they give you, the viii page. Which gives us another set of numbers which translate to /panic. That is a new page with a countdown on it. That counts down to 08/31 like we thought. But in the source code it ends at 11 (23:00) not at 10. What is the username/password for? Hey I think I found something...maybey a clue. in the piture ont he gravity page. above the code of numbers on the right hand side is a piece of graffiti. it looks like it sais "across" but its hard t be sure. it also looks like theres even an arrow pointing to it right above it... maybey its important? ||Peace? || |

A new store run by some of the best minds in Magic (backed by Ellusionist-doesn't seem to make too much sense.) OR Here comes the conspiracy theory. A new store not backed by Ellusionist. All the people involved at the moment have had something to do with Ellusionist over the past year. Be it designing parts of their website (Bucks) to being a consultant (Kenner) to meeting them in Vegas (Liwag) to visiting them to discuss future projects (Asher). It's looking more and more like all of them were just getting a little inside info on how to run a successful online magic business from the inside to me. I am still trying to figure out in how far its related to theory 11. in general its a mail which is quite slow. it means the physical mail delivery. the term's been created when e-mails went common, because there was a need to seperate e-mails from regular physical mails(because of their speed for example). |

I still think -- as I said on page 2 or whatever -- that's it's a magician co-op -- very Ellusionist-like in terms of production values -- run by Asher, Bucks, Liwag, Kenner et al. If so -- it's a great idea. Some folks think it's a concept. I don't. It's true that Theory11 sounds like something out of Elmsley's Collected or buried deep in Stewart James -- but I don't think something this elaborate (or maybe this *simple*) is a concept. A co-op run by the top names in magic would be quite a concept, actually. B. Christian and Ellusionist need some competition for video slickness. |

Sadly, magic is, in North America, often really only seen being performed by Caucasian males. However, you also have to realize that Caucasian males are still the majority in North America. So any group that appeals neutrally to everyone will reflect the generic ratios of majorities and minorities. Given that magic is still done by so few, compared to music and acting, you see even less of those of more variety. Even looking at actors, you see the majority in North American films are still Caucasians, but given that there are far MORE big name actors than there are big name magicians, we will still see a lot more females and people of different ethnicities. Also, things that appeal to different groups etc more than others will see higher concentrations of those people than others. Hence why you see a lot more female dancers than male, and a lot more African American hip hop, R&B, and rap artists than white. |

[/quote] So first of all...I think I was one of the first few on the Café to get to the witness screen because I figured out the darn code. I am not saying this because I am interested in the proverbial 'medal' or 'cookie', but as it turns out, I looked on the Bucks' forum, and people on there had already gotten there around 10:30pm or so, so the whole having a job thing is moot. We just took longer to get there. On the other hand, I don't recall anyone on that site giving away all the answers, which is cool and fine that some did, but it takes the element of work and effort towards the prize outta the thing, no? I love puzzles and this one totally kicked my butt. Whoever came up with this whole concept deserves all the attention it is getting. This is very exciting...no matter what it actually turns out to be. Most of these guys have already changed the face of magic, and I cant wait to see what they have in store for us next. ALL the 0's and 1's..... what about all the flash binary code that appears when..... say you watch the bucks hidden footage..... at the begining and the end when it shows "theory11/bucks.teaser/additional.footage.2", binary flashes before and after that, appearing/going away. it is there on a few other videos also. food for thought I guess, maybe it is nothing. |
