Topic: Update...

To give everyone an update on my circumstances (for you newer people to this forum, back in October, I lost almost all of my escape stuff), I received my order from the Cannon's the other day. I've got lots of new stuff to work with now! I now have to work with my straitjackets....yes, straitjacketS! I've got three I'm working with now. The most difficult thing has been for me to find someone to work with me on practicing the straitjackets. No one around here is willing to help me (they don't think I should be doing escapes). I ended up e-mailing a friend who lives about an hour away asking if he could help me....and I'd even spring for dinner. He replied..."let me get this straight....you are willing to drive here, buy me dinner, and THEN let me tie you up? <expletive> Yeah! I ain't crazy!!" So, now, we just have to arrange a time for me to go. Of course, I can just imagine what he's going to tell all his friends!

Margarette, Thanks for the update! I am so very happy to hear that you are re-supplied and back on your feet (or hanging from your feet!).

er...three straitjackets?

It is so difficult for me to get my little pea brain around the fact that no one there will help you rehearse! As your friend said “<expletive deleted>” them. I wonder where the local’s have been or what planet they are from. Women are in all elements of our craft and doing very well (very, very, very well). Maybe they are just threatened by the competition! Good luck in the practice!

Very glad to hear it. I don't understand why no one would want to help you out. Everyone I know loves try'n to tie me up. Not sure what that says about them, but it gets me some good practice. haha, what would you use 3 straitjackets for?
