Topic: Halloween Fun....

Saturday I went with my wife to a Halloween FUNdraiser. Though I was not "working", I did bring lots of toys and went as Harpo ...not Oprahs production company but one of the Marx Brothers....

Some people reach for the Alcohol to keep the party rolling. I had to reach for the Aleve.

It reminded me of my days with my Mime over Matter programs.

The play will turn into a working character. Anyone else have some play turn into a schtick for your gigs?

A quick view of this and other nearly normal characters are at my slide.com

I've done Groucho once for a job. Love Harpo, would almost be nervous to do him.

Which wig did you go for the pink one or the red one?

Is it actually possible to hand someone your leg when they're not in on the gag?

Looks like you were having a GREAT time, Aleve or not!

I did the leg gag frequently that night.

It was much easier when I was younger.

The wig I got was a cheap one from Wal-mart. It actually was a large Afro/Blonde..(which by the way I had back in the day..Not that large ..

It was fun Aleve it or Not..(love that gag, Mark)

The jacket was full of sight gags, bicycle horn, Bob (my Rocky), a cartoon noise generator(Wah Wah, Boing Boing spring type sound, Head Shaking, Kaboom...., a small rubber chicken..which my wife said was disgusting when it did an imitation of a turtle..She thought it looked like the wrong "end"

Groucho sounds like fun...Anyone else use a character professionally that was created for another purpose?
