Cool!!!

Anyone know if they've ever been to the states at all? Might make a really big coup for someone running a convention to get them over here.

I love those guys! Has anybody seen their presentation of "Interlude"?

Pepka: I agree. If they can be brought to the states for a large convention or something, that would be a great thing and a nice draw as well. I have seen them perform only through video on YouTube and they are just 2 very creative thinkers in magic. they have found their own unique style and it works for them.

Hasn't everybody see them producing a "rabbit from a hat"? How do they get away with this stuff on TV. All we get on TV here is people shooting each other.

Steve: I am not sure where they are based out of or what country the TV shows are airing in, however, it is safe to say that many other countries have much more lenient laws when it comes to what can and can not be aired on TV. I know their specials have never aired in the US as far as I can tell.

I have actually slept with both these individuals ('they' call me Bob). If anyone wants to know anything more of them (including a request for them to do a gig near you, please I'm me and I will give them a nudge.

NathanAllen,

Yes, I have seen the Interlude version of these guys and it was nicely done! I have a handful of episodes of the "Dirty Tricks" show.

Kyle,

Airing these shows in the U.S. would be like the parody of "Sopranos on ABC Family" they did on Mad TV once. The show would be about 3 minutes long after editing and bleeping.

If you've seen the "rabbit from the hat" show, you'll understand...it's a lot more than just language. The "hat" was a naked woman...and the rabbit was produced from her (examined by an audience member) "HAT"...if ya know what I mean, nudge, nudge, wink, wink..

Hehehe Steve. I totally know what you are talking about. lol Nice stuff. yeah a 2 minute show may not fly here. lol Although cable TV could always pick them up. I just find them very entertaining and very creative thinkers and I respect them for that. It elevates our artform.

Barry & stuart are from uk their shows including Magik and Dirty Tricks aired there over the past few years.

In Magik they also did a prediction where a passer by was picked from the street and had to select his favourite out of 5 girls. it turned out that his selection was a transvestite, and they even have shown a ***. I don't know if this will play at in the US.

I met up with Barry and Stuart and had a drink with them tonight, really nice guys. They did a brilliant show tonight, the crowd was a little older than there usual crowd, needless to say the audience enjoyed it except for the cancer joke. But I was creasing myself laughing. A Fantastic act, and hope for your sake they take it across the pond.

3rd most viewed comedy video on youtube, not bad. Didn't know they had managed to ghenerate this kind of following. Here in the UK, they are still something of a smaller entitiy. They are often the "obligitory" guest magic act on variety shows. Always recieve positive reviews.

These guys are great. They also had two specials in the UK, one called The Magic of Jesus and another called tricks of the Bible. They were really good. Here's a clip of them walking on water:

They haven't done many more specials as of late, and we want to see more of them! The great thing is, they're original which is becoming more and more rare lately.

Rezzing an old thread to ask:

Does anyone like their gory/gruesome tricks?

I personally like 'em a lot, but nobody mentioned these ones. :)

Funny is Funny. No worse, in my opinion, than Harry Anderson's Needle in Arm or Arm Chopper and mos of Amazing Jonathan's and Penn & Tellers stuff. It all depends on the audience.

These guys are great... very entertaining in a strange way.
