Topic: New Book on Busking |
I just got an email notification about a new busking book. You can read the first part of it on the website. It's at http://www.leapinglizardsmagic.com/lure_with_spectacle.htm I have no connection with the author or Leaping Lizards other than a previous customer and interest in this book. -Brian |

I got no connection with the author either...but bought a copy anyway. Mostly cuz Dean M. is one hot tomale. ;) |
I ordered my copy last week or so. |
I ordered one too. It's the least I can do for him as I'll probably never get the chance to put money in his hat directly. If any of the rest of you have ever enjoyed Jimmy's posts here and elsewhere, I encourage you to do the same. |
Jimmy is an inspiration to me. He writes a whole lot of sense. Ive got to wait a few weeks for the book to get to me in New Zealand, then I'm going to read and reread and reread it. And put the advice into action! |

Hey there... I held the rpoof in my hand yesterday... Looked GREAT! Ready to ship on the first! |
Proof that is.... Hot Tamale, Aye. ;) |

I would imagine most in the US should have the book in hand by Wednesday! |

Got mine today! "Bang on the dot, as usual." -I just heard the Admiral say that while watching Mary Poppins. Whata classic! Always wish Dick VanDyke woulda got a bigger hat in the opening scene though...shame really, his act was bang on the dot too ;) |
Ordered mine today... I can't wait. Shawn |

Mine should be on the way Down Under and I also added the new Professors Nightmare publication to it as well. These guys at Leaping lizards are putting out some great stuff for street performances. |
Got mine! I'm in the club and loving it! Got the Prof. Nightmare book too. |

(Pound notes weren't tossed about so casually!) |

Half way through mine, (had to devide my time last night with the new "Uncle Bob" DVDs which are fantastic!). Jimmy seems to speak the golden rules. |
Glad to see lots of good thoughts about this book. Jimmy is golden! |
Wait a minute :( Paul Pacific is golden. Jimmy can be silver, bronze, or frickin' chartruse for all I care. ...but only Paul is golden. That being said, Tony and Dean are Bang on the dot with their intentions ;) |
The book arrived today in Sweden. I´ve read half already, and it is very good. Informative, fun and...and... well...good. Håkan Thanksalot :wavey: |

I am on the second read through. Unless you are the kind of person that enjoys working in an office cubicle you will love this book. |
I got my copy [I'm in New Zealand] a couple of days ago, have read it right through and am dipping in to it time and again. "It's better to go out and do something than to stay at home and plan something" says Jimmytalksalot. A very useful book, I reckon. |
Glad to hear folks are enjoying this book! Thanks for all the good feedback |

I ordered mine a few days ago, just waiting for the mail. HURRY UP ALREADY!!! From what I have been reading here this book should be a gold mine.. or silver mine at least. I wish there were more people on the lecture circut that did street performing or at least in and around the Harrisburg Area. Ok books still not here Come on already |
