A small group of magicians and I are putting together a DVD and printed matter package to ship out to potential employers who have stages and auditoriums.

This will be my first time putting together such a package and if anyone can offer me advice and experience in doing this, it will be appreciated.

I need to clarify one point, and someone told me I neglected to state the aim of the package I am putting together.

The show has 4 or 5 magicians doing various types of Stage and stand up magic. Ie I am an escape artist, another is a rope man etc.

We are aiming to help schools, civic organizations, churches/temples and other not for profit groups raise funds.

We are looking to make some money from this show, with the understanding that the goal is to raise funs for the sponsoring organization.

I know this can work, we have done 4 shows already and have letters of thanks/recommendation from each.

One piece of advice would be to make sure ALL of your material shows how much money was raised at each of the previous events!

Other than that specific detail, it sounds like it would be the same as any other promotional package, just with 4-5 other performers. Try and call yourselves a group (i.e. The Blue Man Group, etc.) then maybe a 1 paragraph bio on each perfomer, but again, in order to sell this to buyers focus on what their needs are........... which are to RAISE MONEY!!! Your group is THE SOLUTION TO THEIR MONEY RAISING PROBLEMS!!!!! And you helped ABC Chairity raise $1,500 for their group with 1 perofrmance!
