Ya know... I am rather glad you asked this because, although life is FULL of trouble and challenges right now... I can still say... a 9!

Thanks for reminding me that I control my mood!

Happiness is circumstantial and fluctuates between a 5 and a 10, but joy doesn't depend on circumstances and remains high!

With medication or without?

I usually am around a four, maybe a five. On good days a six.

Therapy hasn't helped. Drink seems to. Sex helps a lot.

But I'm usually hanging around four or five.

My life is EXCELLENT: I've got love and family and money. I can count my blessings with the best of them.

Still, I hover around four or five.

Better than two or three, I suppose.

Stoney, I think he's talking about overall happiness...NOT looks!

Hey now!

In my book you're a 7 or 8!

8 1/4 on a good day!

Thanks Justin, but I understood the post. I joke around here, but I'm not a happy guy. Doesn't make me a bad person, does it?

Maybe it does.

This thread is depressing.

I suppose 8! Much lower if it wasn't for my wife and son.
Message: Posted by: daffydoug (Sep 16, 2008 07:47PM)
I would have to give myself a 4. Maybe a 5 if I'm in a generous mood.
Message: Posted by: Margarette (Sep 16, 2008 09:37PM)
Maybe a 2 at best.
Message: Posted by: kcg5 (Sep 16, 2008 11:26PM)

Today I got to play with my daughter and what ended up being all the kids at playworld. To hear her laugh and see her smile 10/10

Silvertongue, I like your attitude.

Today, now reminiscing on yesterdays events I am able to bring the same happiness to mind enough so that it brings with it a smile from ear to ear and tears to my eyes as I relive the memories. 10/10 again.

Seeing the kids double over in hysterical uncontrollable laughter is a rare site and to be the cause of it is a special gift.

One Memory --------

So I was pushing my princess and her friend on these swings in this huge jamboree gym. I covertly set up a crash mat behind me and inadvertently walked infront of an oncoming swing getting booted in the face and sent flying across the room landing on the mat. I then got up and staggered around dazed and confused just missing the swing by inches and falling to the floor and repeating like a clown/stuntman. Their laughter echoed around the whole building.

I saw this happiness shared in the faces of the parents of other children. As they made eye contact and smiled at me, I smiled back. It is a special moment.

I'm like the Pied Piper when it comes to kids, they attract to me when I am in play.

In a few weeks I will show them some Magic...

And they will not be able to even begin to comprehend...

This is only one of many happy memories I have.

I am very rarely unhappy. I know it is a state of mind that CAN be controlled.

If you guys don't mind me asking what are some of your causes of happiness?

-edit- Be aware this is a trick question.
