Aussie exposes online poker rip-off

“It named World Series of Poker winner Russ Hamilton, previously associated with Ultimate Bet's affiliate program, as the main perpetrator.”

At least with live play:

1) From a player point of view....You have a chance to see or know if you are being cheated vs. cyberspace where you can not see bits :)

2) But, from the cheats point of view....there is no computer log of what happened. So, a replay is not possible :)

I personally would NEVER bet online, I want a fighting chance to catch my opponent trying to gain an advantage.

“Ultimate Bet’s failure to comply fully with these measures will result in the immediate revocation of its KGC gaming permit.”

:) At least they don't shoot you on line.

More ammunition for the Feds and Congress to try and stop Online Gaming !

They want revenues to go to brick and mortar casinos :)

On-line cheating is just too easy, and there are a lot of ways to scam an on-line poker table.

Lots and lots of ways, I'm sure.

The best way is to be the men behind the curtain.

Hey, I have an idea...let's play online poker here....

Shuffle...shuffle....shuffle...cut...

(Hey, I did not even have to use a Zarrow, stack or bottom deal :))

Deal....bet....deal .... bet...deal .... bet....

I did not expose my hand yet...so, tell me what you have and then I will show you my hand to see if I win or if we draw and split the pot :)

What do you have ?

Meanwhile, Poker News Daily has learned that players in Aruba have been signing up for cash games under the name NioNio, which was the most well-known account involved in the scandal. An unsuspecting person in the casino’s poker room would then say that a $5/$10 seat for NioNio was open, which would incite a round of laughter from the crowd. Other accounts cited as being part of the scandal included Sleepless, NoPaddles, nvtease, flatbroke33, ilike2win, UtakeIt2, FlipFlop2, erick456, WhackMe44, RockStarLA, stoned2nite, monizzle, FireNTexas, HeadKase01, LetsPatttty, NYMobser, and WhoWhereWhen.

So what about the suckers, do they get their money back?

Have you played against them names at at Absolute Poker's sister site, UltimateBet?
