Topic: What's Your Favorite Breakfast Cereal? |
I have a lot of favorites, but Post Grape Nuts tops my list. What's yours? |
Frosted Mini Wheats with a banana sliced in. |
It's beyond me why they kept making any other kind of cereal after the creation of Captain Crunch. What else could you possibly want? James |
Lucky Charms. Can't get them here in Germany. Nor Captain Crunch. |
Send away for em, you cheap ***. ill do it 15 bucks a box |
HA! Actually, that's not too bad a price, considering you'd probably have to pay more than that for shipping. Or were you going to charge me for shipping, too? Lucky Charms aren't exactly Hostess cherry pies, you know. |
That's messed up. I called you a slang word (7 letters) for a son without a father, and it made it look like a three letter word. do you even get mail at your castle? |
Marlboro and Folger's. |
Of course I get mail at my castle. The butler even makes the maids clean it before delivering it to me on a silver platter. I can't wait until I get that shrunken head from Higley! One of the maids--the fifteen year old with large lungs and tribal tattoos underneath her uniform--frightens easily. She'll FREAK! And I like my maids freaking. |
My frosted Cheerios tell me many interesting tales every morning, mostly of some psychopathic bend. |
My cereal choice changes, I like grape nuts, shreaded wheat, Capt. Crunch, and most likely my favorite is Raisin Brand. $15. is cheap considering the carrier will use dim weight. |
Capt Crunch with Crunch berries. |
Golden Puffs made by Malt-O-Meal, they come in a bag not a box and are one great suger rush! |
The combination of Captain Crunch and afternoon cartoons was one of my early epiphanic moments. But even IT gets better... The best C.C. sugar rush comes from the shake... that collection of sparkly gold dust that's found at the bottom of the box. It's the prize that comes with the last bowl! Next favorite would probably be Life Cereal. (Hey, Mikey!) |
Toss up. Cocoa Puffs and Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs |
I was once fond of Quisp and King Vitamin...but I never see them now. |
Lately, I have taken to making a blend - two pucks of wheetabix covered in Alphabits. Hits the spot and keeps ya regular. |
Oh, alphabits! I have not had them in SO long! I cant stand marshmallow cereal. You are going to put marshmallows in them, use real ones. Lately, I like a nice crunchy bowl of granola and vanilla silk soymilk. My mom set the table the other day, she put the box of cereal and a white 12 inch silk at my seat. Not funny! I should put some of her scrapbooking supplies in the bathroom. She could be a scrapper on the, ... nevermind. Matt |

I like frosted mini wheats. :) |

Next favorite would probably be Life Cereal. (Hey, Mikey!) [/quote] Ahhhhh yes! Saturday morning cartoons and huge, heaping bowls of cereal! Man, those were the days! I would sit in front of the TV with my siblings and we would gulp down bowl after heaping bowl of the sugary confections. We must have went through two or three gallons of milk every weekend between me and my brothers and sisters. Man, we had the best toons then. Bugs Bunny, and all the Looney Toons...plus other educational fare like the Stooges.. I loved the prizes in the box that they had back then. Nowadays, I believe they are extinct. But we would shove our entire arm down that box digging for the prize that inevitably sunk to the bottom. Then that would cause the box to bulge and everyone else would know that you had committed the crime. Ahhhh, those were the days! |

Honey Nut Cheerios with banana, strawberries, or blueberries. Also quite partial to Cap'n Crunch. |
I live in Portland, so it has to be Fruit Loops. |
Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus |
Ahh, yes! Flax to assure that that morning constitutional is substantial! :goof: |
I eat Quisp! |
Grape Nuts? No grapes. No nuts. Looks like kitty litter. Tastes like gravel... Personally, I've never enjoyed pre-sweetened cereals. I prefer Rice Krispies or Cheerios, both with raisins or banana on top. -Erik |
Did you ever notice how you can get WAY more sugar on an unsweetened cereal than they can on the frosted ones? You usually end up with that last Wheetie on an island of sugar you can't sink! |
Captain Crunch Peanut Butter. This thread did remind me of one of my favorite standup routines, though... "Now they have this cereal...Cookie Crisp. Have you seen this? It's a bunch of little cookies. You just pour them in a bowl, pour milk over them, and eat 'em. Why didn't they just call it 'To hell with everything'?" |
Ooh, captain crunch! That is good to, but do you ever find that it makes the roof of your mouth all funny feeling? |
I switch it up the best tasting breakfast cereal of all time is Cinnamon toast crunch Around Halloween I love how they bring back Boo Berry and Frankenberry along to keep Count Chocula company. Otherwise I rotate between Captain Crunch with crunch berries, Apple Jacks, Cookie Crisp, and coca pebbles |
Got to be Capt'n Crunch with them Crunch Berries. |

The roof of your mouth is sensitive..so if you eat enough Captain Crunch it acts as an abrasive and makes your roof 'sore'. My favorite cereal now is Cheerios because it helps reduce cholesterol. |
