Anything I really want from Hocus Pocus is never on sale.

I love Hank Lee's idea of free [or Half price,if abroad] shipping.

Thanks for sharing Christopher.

When I received that e-mail I checked out the clearance section @ Hocus Pocus and saw Mark Mason's Come Fly With Me already discounted plus another 30% off.

I was on the fence on buying this...am on the fence no more. That's a great deal!

So are certain videos(such as Harry Lorayne) really on sale for 1.99, plus 30% off?!!!
Message: Posted by: randirain (Jan 12, 2009 12:19PM)
I see my Whodunit trick is on there.

Great trick if I say so myself.
Of course it's not for everyone.
Since it's a murder mystery routine, it may not be the right thing for your kid shows or church shows.
But if you do an adult comedy show... this will work really well.

I also stand behind it.
If you need anything in the way of the trick or have problems, let me know.

Curiosity got the best of me, so I went to the Link to see my own products. First of all, I want to stress, as I've been doing for quite a while, that I will MEET ANY DEALER'S price on my items. Now, just to point out a couple of things - the blurb for BEST OF FRIENDS, Vol. 3 is - "after 22 years." What??!! It's copyrighted 2007. I assume that what's meant (and perhaps I read it wrong) is that I wrote volume 3 22 years after volume 2.
The $1.99 is for my "Best Ever" VHS video cassettes, NOT the DVDs. I have some of them, not all (I have #s 5, 6, and 7 perhaps a few #4s left). Before I throw them out (they're brand new, still in original shrinkwrap) you can have them at that price, if you pay the pstg/hdnlgn. No, no 30% off that - that's a joke - I'd much rather throw them out! Oh, and the retail price stated for the "Best Ever" DVD 4-volume set is incorrect. It's not $139.80; it's $120.00.
So, just want to let you know that you can get any of the items listed there (except for THE MAGIC BOOK - I have only the Deluxe Collector's edtions of those), including ANY of the books mentioned, directly from me. And, repeat, I'll meet any of the prices - if they can do a "clearance," so can I. Right? If you have any questions, email to my personal email address, listed under this post. Best - HARRY L.

WHODUNIT by Randi Rain is you? WOW. VERY cool. What a talented person you are!

"Four spectators are asked to help with a murder mystery story, and each spectator is given a large envelope.

The magician then shows four large cards. Three of the cards say "innocent" and one says "guilty." They are mixed, and each spectator is asked to select one while the magicians back is turned.

Each spectator selects one and places it in their envelope. The magician then turns back around and begins to talk about psychic investigators. The magician then motions over to each envelope, but comes up with nothing; showing that psychics are totally bogus.

So now the magician decides to use evidence, intelligence, and science know-how. The magician pulls out a CSI-looking spray bottle and sprays each spectator's hand. The spectators' hands are then placed on a piece of paper. Nothing happens except for the guilty one, who makes a red handprint! This is all done with a great comedy patter that will have your audience amazed and amused".

I got in on Hocus-Pocus's sale a few weeks ago when everything was 30% off. I used it as an excuse to finally pick up Art of Astonishment 2 & 3.

I calculated the clearance price for this and it came out to $175 + shipping. They must be desperate to clear this out. What a great deal!

Surely that can't be right, these are beautiful coins.

It's oh so true so get it while you can. I picked up Terri Rogers' 'Blockbuster' for $31.50 versus the original price of $75.00......ppssstt...other website dealers are currently listing this for the $75 as of this minute. There are some really good deals to be had.....depending on what you are looking for.

Sometimes the word "Clearance" sounds like old, outdated stuff. Not the case with the Hocus-Pocus sale. I looked at the inventory and there is killer, popular magic on it. Paul just likes to say thanks to folks.

I've found some great deals at Hocus Pocus. Picked up the Art of Astonishment book set for less than $100 delivered. Paul Gross runs various specials on DVD's, clearance items, books, and regular stock frequently & delivery is prompt. I'm always on the lookout for his sales.

The only drawback to purchasing from Paul is the shipping. If they undercharge you on it they charge your credit card again without asking. Whack. It was a great clearance sale though.
