I'm thinking of getting a Geoff Felix old man figure.
Does any body have anything to say that might help me decide?

Having seen one in real life at Geoff's place a few years back, I'd say go for it!

You've seen the short clip on You Tube? (Search Geoff Felix).

Colin, I can only tell you that his workmanship is second to none and he is a decent guy.

Geoff's work is "perfection".

I'm fortunate to have owned one of his brand new CHEEKY heads at one point and it was very nice.

So Matt, why did you get rid of him?

Too perfect.

Much like a Selberg they are so perfect they lack something to me.

I like character. I like imperfections. Think Marshall. Think McElroy. Character is where its at! But that is just my opinion.

And, a good one it is Matt!

I think I'll try and see one up close and personal before I shell out. It's dificult here in the UK to see many figures, I must try and get to Vent Haven convention one year.

Colin it is unfortunate but Mr Felix will not sell to anyone in the US. Therefore his figures over here are rather hard to find. I think this is a mistake on his part but he has his reasons.

When are you going to send me a SELBERG to "make over" for you?
Message: Posted by: creativemac (Apr 23, 2009 11:17AM)
Hi Matt,

Fortunately or unfortunately, with the fews shows I'm doing, I haven't heard the comment "I've seen that Reggie figure before, with another ventriloquist." That being the case, I'm gonna leave him the way his is.

However, I am trying to acquire another figure, which if I get, he will be a candidate for a makeover.

Loving your blog.

Any reason why he won't sell any of his figures to anyone in the states?

I believe it was because, he had a bad experience shipping a figure to the US. So, arrange a trip to the UK and you can pick it up and bring it back with you.
