You used to do something almost every year at the Rhinebeck Theater in Rhinebeck NY. Now that I've relocated to NY state, you've become quite scarce. Any plans on re-visiting the area?

Greetings EvilDan and all...

I love the Rhinebeck theater and working in upstate New York. My tour this year will not give me the opportunity to get back there, but I'm hoping to see you and my other friends at my New York City appearances at Fantasma.

I have lots of new material that I am really excited to share with you, Dan, and everyone. Guess what, 30% at least is new!!

See you in the big apple...

I recently talked with the folks at Rhinebeck. They're apparently having a bit of a financial crunch, and can't risk what they used to guarantee us just now - but we'll be back, I'm sure, as soon as things start to turn around in the economy. There's also some chance Jeff may be coming back to the theater in Middletown, NY sometime soon. Many possibilities - we're already starting to work on the schedule for the spring of 2010!

I suppose I should point out that Jeff does a special 2 day Show/Lecture/Workshop experience that makes it fairly easy for magic groups to sponsor him - you wind up with a "McBride Mini Convention" for just about the same investment it would take to bring in someone else to lecture - and you actually have a good chance of turning a profit on the event. Contact me if you're interested.

Do you mean the Paramount Theater? That is right by my friends magic shop.
