Topic: Sean Scott's Factory Line Promo released!
Message: Posted by: SeanScottMagic (Jun 13, 2009 01:05AM)

Just finished the product video for my most recent effect, "Factory Line". It is a slight departure in style from my last two effects. This is a strolling or close-up style effect that is fun and interesting. With all of the discussion about the car industry today, this might be a cute way to patter a bit about current affairs in your close-up or strolling set. I have a thing for seeing a turnaround in the car industry too I guess. If you'd like to check the video and product information, here's the link. Just scroll down to the bottom for the promo video:

Feel free to email with any questions. I will post some additonal info soon.

There have been some questions about construction. I have tried to leave you some options for the time involved, there are some shortcuts if you want them. You may have to visit a craft store for one item. The other items are easier to obtain and you very likely already own them. The Ki guys/gals need not to worry, not half the time of Ki.

For strollers/restaurant workers, all items sit easily in the pockets. It's possible to even use a smaller notepad if you wish. There is a strolling handling and a table-side handling, so you are not fumbling with anything. Reset is just a few seconds.

Some of the bonus material includes various uses for one of the gimmicks. Don't have to use just diecast cars.

The car color change was fun to create and I hope you will find it a clever method, along with the production. This is a "sketchpad" style effect for close up that I feel makes sense. It's also interesting to work in some current automotive affair patter.

What is in the kit exactly, and can you be just a bit more specific about finding the materials, we all wish to save as much money as we can and $35.00 is better than $65.00, Are there any pre-order discounts, Do you accept paypal. thanks Dave

A craft store will have the item you are less likely to have. The others are more readily available, notepad, diecast car, marker & two unseen materials. A department store will likely be the only other location you visit. The current pricing is the best I can do at this time. I will be more than happy to answer questions through the process if needed. Hope that helps.

Excellent effect--the music helps to sell it. What is that track?

The music is a remix of Tracy Chapman's Fast Car. I do not know the specific title.

If one buys the DVD and not the Kit, but later finds it difficult to find materials, would you sell an add on kit,

Yes Dave, I will make that available.

Sean, is the car examinable between white and blue stage and at the end, can it be used as a giveaway or would that require a switch? I'm thinking of birthday parties...

The car can be handed out for examination in any state. That is something I specifically considered when making the effect.

Sa'll right. Looked a bit cramped in the handling tho'. I just like the car with the lines on it.

Also, the bonus material will include some ideas for using one of the gimmicks as a utility item. I hope to have some promo video available soon for demonstration.

Sean, a hard question, what is the level of difficulty, and how good are your instructions.

Does the cars come with the effect, or do I have to by the stuff on the side?

What actually comes with the effect?

Anyone have this, that can answer these questions.I do think there are 2 versions, and one does have all you will need, Sean does have a great reputation, I'm sure this is a terrific effect, but a review or two .
