Hi,

I just wanted to say that I ordered a new Selberg "Oliver" figure for my daughter's birthday and he was shipped/arrived two days EARLY! Big props to Tim.

All the best,

Tim emailed me two days ago and he did say that he has added some people in the work force that's why the time frame for orders is guaranteed 10-12 weeks depending of course on what figure and animations you are trying to order.

My wish-list includes a Selberg Tater :) yup...just a wish list. :)

My Selberg "Tater" took almost two years to receive! Let me tell you, he is totally worth the wait.

Good for you, Matt. You'll love him.

The only reason I have Mrs. Goldman (Selberg "Granny") is that the person who ordered her from Tim lost interest in vent by the time the figure arrived. She offered the figure for sale, and I saw the opportunity to own a Selberg with no wait. I snapped her up and then figured out what to do with her.

Wanlu:

How do you get to speak with Tim? Whenever I call the number on his website, I get a message that the system can't take any more messages as the mailbox is full. I want to get a back-up Lucille but want to speak to Tim directly. PM me if you prefer.

Thanks.

Bob,
You can email Tim through his website. I did all transactions via email.

Wanlu,

please, let us know if Tater arrives in that time period. It might be the dawn of a new age, "Timely Delivery."

Donald,
Are you still selling your MAX figure?
Message: Posted by: creativemac (Aug 25, 2009 01:42PM)
Hi Matt,

it didn't sell, as I was awaiting, what I hope was a trade for a Hartz figure. I'm holding on to him, in the hope that such another trade will come along.

A year or so ago I snatched up a full featured Nerd (actually, his name is Newton and he strenuously objects when I refer to him as a nerd) that someone put up for sale. At the time I wondered if he was worth the price. Trust me, he is.

I'd love a Selberg Oliver too, but it's not in the budget. : (
Message: Posted by: Wanlu (Aug 25, 2009 09:48PM)
How much is a Selberg Oliver?

I heard it's in stock :)
Message: Posted by: creativemac (Aug 26, 2009 12:54AM)
$799 with rolling eyes $899

Reasonable price...I think. :)
Message: Posted by: Matt_24 (Aug 26, 2009 11:03AM)
I once owned a Selberg NERD and it was worth the price. Oliver is easily worth the money!

You know Donald.....cash is sometimes more desirable than a trade. Hint, hint, wink, wink. Let me know.
Message: Posted by: olivertwist (Aug 26, 2009 09:04PM)
That is a good price! I thought it would be $500 more at least.
Message: Posted by: creativemac (Aug 26, 2009 09:21PM)
Are people still collecting money(CASH)?
Message: Posted by: Matt_24 (Aug 27, 2009 06:38AM)
Some do Donald. Some do.

You could start a cash collection in trade for your Selberg. Just an idea. :)
Message: Posted by: creativemac (Aug 27, 2009 09:43AM)
Everytime I start a cash collection, my wife finds it and......POOF, it's gone!!

Does Tim bring much stuff to sell at venthaven? I did email him to see if he was bringing a Tater but didn't hear back from him. I might try to order some feet for me to pick up!
Message: Posted by: Matt_24 (Jan 30, 2011 06:12PM)
There is a TATER on ebay right now.

Yup... Philip bought it :)
Message: Posted by: ColinDymond (Jan 31, 2011 04:40PM)
Wanlu, Why did you sell it?
Phillip, Why did you buy it and is it working for you?
I like the idea of one but I need to get it right.
Message: Posted by: Servante (Jan 31, 2011 05:07PM)
I thought I was done buying figures, then I saw that Tater was for sale and I just couldn't resist.
I haven't used Tater in a show yet, but I have operated him for audiences of one and two. So far, everybody loves Tater.

Philip, I was going to ask if Tater would need a Green Card, coming into the US from the Philippines, but then I remembered that Tater was born in the USA and went to live with wanlu.
Message: Posted by: Wanlu (Jan 31, 2011 11:48PM)
Tater is a fantastic figure... He killed everytime I performed with him but I had a difficult time manipulating him because of his size.
Message: Posted by: ColinDymond (Feb 1, 2011 03:31AM)
Phillip. If you don't get on with him, let me know!
Message: Posted by: Servante (Feb 1, 2011 09:38AM)
I will,Colin, but don't hold your ventriloquial breath! :-D
He's about as cute as they come and his controls work with such ease. He's got "cute" built right in, even before I do anything with him. Experimenting with voices just now, considering script ideas, and looking into a good baby names. However, as I make my living writing scripts, and this is a particularly busy time for those, it may be a bit before Tater sees an audience. Hope he doesn't get a growth spurt. :-D

Might have to see if Tim brings one to venthaven!
Message: Posted by: Servante (Feb 1, 2011 12:35PM)
Yeah...and you might have to get there early, too. Can't help but thing that any available Tater will go fast.

But no over seas buyers! Also if I get one at the convention I can sneak it home...
Message: Posted by: Dickens & Dave (Feb 1, 2011 09:37PM)
Oops! Sorry. Not being interested in the figure myself, I didn't read the description.
Message: Posted by: maps (Feb 3, 2011 01:02AM)
Hey Wanlu, any figures that you are thinking of selling?
Message: Posted by: Wanlu (Feb 3, 2011 03:06AM)
I do have some figures I'm planning to sell.

Poyner
McRay (Gort)
Lovik (currently on hold)
Anderson (Mini figure)
Message: Posted by: maps (Feb 5, 2011 02:47AM)
I was hoping you have an Alfaro Chow Tu Wang type of figure or a Selberg Nerd.
If only I knew you had the Robert McRay DNA!
Message: Posted by: creativemac (Feb 5, 2011 12:51PM)
Can't DNA be cloned?
