For all smokers, when you smoke do you use your strong hand, especially to hold the cigarette, pipe or cigar?

I always used both hands (not at the same time, of course), depending on what I was doing.

For example, when catching the ball, you have the cigarette (or pipe or cigar) in the right hand. When throwing the ball you have the cigarette tucked into the webbing of your glove. You take puffs in between actions.

When at bat, you just keep it clenched between your teeth, and you avoid fast balls to the head.

But I don't smoke no more. I ain't like that no more.

I still can't hit a curve ball, though.

I no longer smoke. I quit about 15 years ago. However, I am right handed, and when I used to smoke I used both hands to hold the cigarette, but I used my right hand the most.

When I was a pipe smoker, years ago, I used either hand; held the pipe in the left hand when lighting, or tamping with a tamping tool.

That's why I use apples and empty beer cans, it keeps both of your hands busy.

I thought the question was going to be something like.......
who cuts the barbers hair?
or
who does the dentists teeth?

MAN, I haven't used an apple in decades! GOOD STUFF!

I smoke cigars and usually have it clenched between my teeth! When I smoked cigs, I used my right (dominant) mainly. When playing guitar I wedged it under the E string above the nut!

When I smoked I tended to use the left at work (writing all the time with the right) but could and would smoke with either hand.

It depends on in which country I am.
If I am in South Africa I hold it in my right hand and if I am in Taiwan I hold it in my left.
The only reason is the side of the road we drive on and I have to be able to ash out of the window. If I smoke while riding on my motorbike I obviously hold it in the hand not accelerating.

Tinder Box and other smoke shops are still a going concern, selling Dunhills, Savinellis, Ascortis, Eric Nordings, hand-carved Turkish meerschaums, etc.

But I thought those shops sold their stuff mainly as ornaments and fancy dress???

Lots of people still smoke pipes.

Lots of people still smoke cigarettes, cigars, and chew.

Then there's a group of people that smoke illegal stuff.
Message: Posted by: stoneunhinged (Aug 12, 2009 09:19AM)
Some people smoke Cohiba, in fact.

Which is illegal in the U.S.

Its illegal to bring it in, (I believe..) not illegal to have it in the us.

the fake ones have no raised (black) dots on their labels
