Topic: Best Straight Jacket?
Message: Posted by: Stephon (Oct 27, 2009 12:57PM)
Hi Everyone -- I am in the market for a new straight jacket, and would appreciate some input from the performers here.

I have a non-gimmicked jacket from Monkey Dungeon, with leather straps and roller buckles. Overall, I am happy with it, but I need a smaller size, and am exploring my options.

What are your thoughts on the best jacket of a similar type, and what do you feel are the strengths of that particular jacket?

Thanks very much.

When I bought mine, years ago, I bought it STRAIGHT from the source. At the Posey company. They initially wanted me to talk to a local rep for them, but after issues getting what I wanted from the local rep, their main office took great care of me. They even made it to order without the front loop, at no extra charge.
I would give them a try at Posey.com

That's surprising. Posey has a rep for giving magicians/escapists the cold shoulder.

Don't they let you keep your jacket when you are released from custody?

Only if you're a retired career loony.
