So I did my first bar show last night and went over much better than I thought... There were 6 comics and they seemed to get poor reactions... people just chuckled from what I saw. I was supposed to be the entertainment to simply keep people there and drinking, but got far better laughs than I saw the comics getting. So I felt better. I was VERY nervous because I am so used to doing kids shows. So I do some magic and end with my side show routines of glass walking, mousetraps, fire and Human blockhead... I've been trying to stick to my own jokes and material, but as I was walking around showing people the nail in my nose a guy shouted "don't sneeze" I had to steal Todds line "If I did I'd NAIL ya!" and it got one of, if not the biggest laughs of the night. So Thank you Todd, and sorry for stealing your line... P.S. I am a huge fan. Would love to meet you one day... |

Doug, you forget that the sideshow start with ME! Kameron, the moment required the line, you used it and the result was that audience enjoyed it and it reflected well upon sideshow entertainment in general. You did the right thing for the moment. I would write more, but I have to take a little a emergency road trip to Billings, Montana. Now, where did I put that knife... |

Todd, If you are coming west to Mont. anyway, and want to make a vacation out of it I have a place in the Colo. mountains you can stay. We have good fly fishing and the Aspen are changing color right now. |
