Hey guys, if you want to feel like a kid again, please check out my bro, Calen Morelli's new effect called Transit. You can find it at http://www.theory11.com

A borrowed rubberband is wrapped around your finger, suddenly it jumps to another, and another, and another! You have to see it! My description definitely doesn't do it justice.

Great work Calen!

I bought it! Will test and give a review soon!

The effect looks cool, but I also want to say that his blog is amazing.

Every day for a whole year he's posting a new creation, bit of handling, plot, whatever... I know he's had a few things out and has been in "Talk about Tricks," but this is the first time I'm noticing him. This guy is really going to be a star.

I purchased his "Steal" effect a while back. I have had some good reactions to it.

Yup, I love his "Steal", visual and easy handling.

You are right Failed...it does not get much easier than this. I just pull out the card box, do "Steal", take the cards out of the box and put the box back in my pocket. It really does make a great visual opening for card routines with a full deck.

I will post a review tomorrow I hope. But in a brief statement, it is very clever, fairly easy and worth it!

It's a nice direct routine. I love it

It's very nice! I bought the DVD+download.

What you see is what you get. It might take a bit of practice but other than that the method is direct and simple..as is the routine.I just wish Theory11 would show a FULL FULL performance of Transit in front of spectators. Like they did with Smoke. Prophet. Witness. Believe. Crush...lol

Calen's a friend of mine, and seeing him do this live is pretty great. He's definitely one of the more creative people I know.

Every time I see him, he blows my mind with his creativity. I have seen many pros in the area giggle when he shows off something he's been working on.

That looks amazing. And squeaky clean. Might go well as a counterpoint pairing with Marcus Eddie's Stairway (Theory11), where the rubber bands stay in place, but a bill (or something similar) travels between them.

Surprised I have not seen more about this

Excellent routine. Excellent performance, Calen. Clever method. Not hard to learn but it will take some mirror practice to get the choreography/sequence down cold. Recommended!

I'm glad that you guys are enjoying Transit! If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help you guys out.

Living in Portland I'm fortunate to have seen Calen perform Transit live and up-close numerous times and it looks great. He is a clever and very inventive guy who I'm happy to see get recognized. I'm amazed at the amount and range of things he comes up with...daily!

Calen has a great mind and it's always fun to see what he's working on. Transit is simple, direct and visual. A true triple threat!

Extremely cleaver, outside the box thinking.
It is everything that people have said, "simple, direct and visual".
I was hoping to add this to my strolling arsenal, unfortunately it would be difficult to perform this surrounded without getting caught or exposing the method. This is a really great effect in situations where you can control the side viewing angles. (Small groups or Street magic style) The advertising and DVD do not even address this as an issue, nor has anyone else on this board. Most strolling/table hoppers will find it's use limited because of this. Watch the demo, watch the position of the audience and decide for yourself.

Doing this closer to the body relieves some angle issues you may have :D
