Is there good piece of software available which will be able to recognize the title/artist of a song? Either a song on my PC or on a video online?

I second the recommendation of Shazam ... It is truly spectacular at capturing and identifying specific music in seconds. I use it all of the time in identifying music from TV, movies, malls, commercials, etc. Dan.

You can try Tunatic. You just need a mic and you can use in on your PC.

I use Soundhound for the Iphone. There is a free version avaible. Shazam works very well too.
