I plan to get this, what do you think of it? Is this convincing to the audience?

Lou,
Nice effectitself, don't care for the music, but the scarf bothers me a bit. Would be better to ware it with the proper attire taking it off and attaching it,much like the F.T. Ps. Remember Norms violin? That was a decent effect as well.

Howeer it depends on the style and the misic.

The same came to my mind whe I saw this video. Either you try to make a better effect as Norm or don't do it. I don't like the scarf at all.

Best,

Las

Here is my version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AypAPCyCK0
Recently, I shortened the guitar playing to a minute instead of 1:30mins.
Any comments and suggestions to improve are welcome.

Lou, I agree with extremeeric and Kyle^Ravin that the strap is waaay better than the scarf.
Personally, I'd love to see you levitate while you play...

XerxX

Thank you XerxX,extremeeric and Kyle^Ravin for your feedback.
Kyle: No I'm not playing that guitar, just pluck synching to the music.
XerxX: Good idea! I only use that cape so I can perform that barstool levitation surrounded. If it was a theater type venue, I will definitely do that. Thanks!

Clever idea. Who plays the guitar version of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' theme that you started with?

I like the total routine.
First play a tune on the guitar, and than the magic starts...

Lou, you are forgetting one rule of this kind of floating effect. The performer stands still, when the item floats and moves.
When the prop stands stays still, then the performer moves.
I think your standing sideways, exposing the straps is not necessary, and leaves the audience to think only one thing.
I believe you are moving to fast, and using a fast tempo music is hurting the mystery of the total effect. Remember you are a magician, and you are using your powers to cause the Guitar to float and suspend in the air. I believe you have to add more mystery, and no scanting about the stage.

It is a good looking prop.
