Just wonderin,,,how old is Mr. Fiedler?
Message: Posted by: Nicolino (Oct 20, 2011 05:12AM)
He must be in his mid 70s, I guess.
Message: Posted by: Wizard of Oz (Oct 20, 2011 07:59PM)
I bet he's in his 70's. But if you look through Lubor's lens, he appears in his 30's.

I had the pleasure to have dinner with and hang out with Lubor over the International Magic weekend. It is nice to have him back to his creative self. He showed some unreleased ingenious tricks - all my type of magic. He has released 9 Tenyo effects and I ave released 3. I have a lot of catching up to do (not that it is a race) ;)
Message: Posted by: stereo (Nov 21, 2011 06:37AM)
I count 11 Tenyo effect for lubor Fiedler, but maybe you just count the T-numbers.
Message: Posted by: Angelo Carbone (Nov 21, 2011 06:29PM)
Lubor told me 9. Maybe he made a mistake.
Message: Posted by: Mark F (Nov 21, 2011 08:21PM)
He's counting Lubor's Ashtray and Phantom Clock.

Technically isn't Fielder responsible for the lens on Metal Matrimony?

Fantastic overview Joe! Like you I hope Mark is able to publish the Fiedler book one day. He is a genuis and it is great Tenyo has provided an outlet to showcase a small portion of his ideas.

I thought I read somewhere that he used to post on the Café a lot but then got his own site. Does anyone know the web address of Lubor's site?
Message: Posted by: Richard Kaufman (Mar 1, 2013 01:01PM)
I don't think Lubor has a website.

Lubor's a true genius
Message: Posted by: Killertweety (Mar 1, 2013 01:32PM)
Lubor Fiedler has been posting on the Magic Café some time ago. I have 'messaged' him a lot and no, he doesn't have a website. And I lost all of his messages unfortunately ... (max. amount of messages on the Café .... you know :() . And a genious he was and still is ... . I asked him about his background but he never replied. I believe he was a science teacher/student or something one day ... at least he has some good knowledge about chemistry and physics ... but 'm stating the obvious here. By the way everyone should buy his DVD: The Collected Secrets of Lubor Fiedler. Still for sale, just google it :)

In a recent email from Lubor, he told me that we should not think he is not working on magic. Far from it he is very much into magic. He has samples all over his apartment. Although he reads posts on the Café, he does not post. He said perhaps he will put another video on YouTube sometime this year.
