That is incredible. I will definitely be buying this one. When do we get to see the box? I love Karl's stuff, I have never seen anyone better at aging wood props. The Departed is my absolute favorite. (It looks so innocent, and the back story really sells the whole thing. I use it at EVERY seance I do). I think this tarot would play great with Forever and maybe Lillian too! Can't wait to see the rest of the cards.

If there is a set ready maybe they could be sent with my Darkspell.

Are they marked, aged and distressed?

Hi there Mr Roth,

Please do count me in -- are any of the other cards available to be seen? The Death card is very, very nice -- I can already picture how I could read her...coming from a dead (dying) town, a future in sight (still alive flowers before her), all the while still carrying a remembrance of her past (her doll) with her. Wonderful imagery!

And her hands open in front of her -- maybe questioning on how to move on to that future (or even whether she should or not)?

So many thoughts arise...to see the other cards and how they all interrelate -- I patiently await more pictures!

Thank,

David

Remember the Dark Dawn Tarot comes with a hand made and aged cherry box.

I have just bought a set of carnie tarot on the open market but I will be putting in an order for this fantastic set tomorrow.

Regards
Dr Rob.

3 x 5 Dark Dawn cards are 50% larger than Carny Tarot. 220 lb stock is also much thicker also. Don't get me wrong, I love the Carny, but this set is very different! I like performing with larger cards, folks can see the images better.

It does include a hand made wood box. The price will go up too. This deck is an original hand inked art deck. Hand drawn.
With a C.O.A. signed by the artist. They are in a class by themselves in this world of mass produced art.

The time that went into drawing these images and changing and perfecting what we in-visioned, was extensive, to say the least :)

The price will go up in 2 weeks guys.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments guys. :)

I will be posting The Devil card later.

I will post an aged Death card in the next day or two. Photographs tend to look different on different computers and they also tend to "clean" the image.

So the true aging will only show when the card is in your hand

They will be similar to the Carnie aging but a bit more aged.

I understand wanting to see them.

I do understand they are not cheap and people want to know what they are getting, on the same note, we know how to age Tarot cards by hand :)

The price on the cards has not changed.

I have to sell the boxes separately. Forcing someone to buy the cards and a box together did not seem fair. The cards do come with a nicely aged silk bag.

I can give a combined price on the cards and the Karl Feret box for $150.00 with shipping, you guys can PM me.

Otherwise I'd have 5 different paypal buttons and it would be a bit confusing

The Custom Alchemy Moon tarot box is sold separately and cannot be discounted.

Nice that you gave the option to buy the deck separately. I had meant the combined offer all along(Was $140 combined now $180 separately} $150 is still a generous offer, Rick! consider my order placed.(I will try to resist getting both boxes :) )

All truly wonderful Tarot decks draw their inspiration from their forerunners. The universal wisdom was there.
The Sibilla style of line art was something both Cody as an artist and myself found appealing, and of course Pamela Coleman Smith is a favorite of ours.

Tarot of the Dark Dawn is really "Village of the Dark Dawn". All the cards depict characters that have inhabited or passed through the village.

With the village Blacksmith, Cody and I feel we've come up with a very powerful World card.

I will say that, the Judgement card is frightening in it's possible implication. It will be up to your interpretation of course, but you will be able to "connect the dots" and make yer own assumptions hehe

It's been a few days since any update here. We've been teased with the sample images, so we're now impatient, or at least I am, to receive the goods. Any word on the commencement of shipping?

Got....to.....hang......onnnnnnnnn.

David: you do NOT need another set of tarot cards.

(Yeah. But they're...cool.)

What's wrong with the Carnie Tarot?

(....nothing. I love the Carnie Tarot.)

So why do you need this one?

(Well...I don't actually....y'know....NEED it...but......)

But?

(They're soooo cool....)

Arrrrgggh.....got...to...hang onnnnnnn....

Guys, we're fine tuning colors and tweaking the last few cards. It has been an incredible experience for me to work with Cody creating all original artwork, and at this point we're not going to short cut anything. The deck will be ready and shipping this month I know that for sure, we're that close.

Here is another truly beautiful original art card.

Um guys, the "watch Leno" was a play on RCP's question about running for president. People have announced they will run for office on Leno.

Anyway, it has nothing to do with Leno :)
