| My avatar changed back to the default a few times. Today I checked it to see if it "stuck" and had a message to see the forum admin. So I guess I'm asking what's up? I never got a pm about it, I never got an email about it. Am I to guess I'm not allowed to have the avatar I chose? If that's the case, a pm or email would have been nice. |

There are a few rules about the avatar, which you may not have read yet. I’m just guessing, but it was probably that. Yes, your avatar can be whatever you want, as long as it’s YOU. It can be a head shot, or you in performance, or even a caricature; it just has to be YOU. I’ve even seen some minor PhotoShop-ing here (no photo negatives; it has to be recognizable.) So no flying monkeys (unless, of course, you ARE a…nah…) :) BTW, Welcome to the Magic Café. After seeing your New Guy post, I'm betting we'll be seeing you in the Bizarre forums. Lot of good guys in there. Welcome to the community. |

Zagam, Our [url=http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewforum.php?forum=39&7]Rules & Policies[/url] are quite specific, especially the section on [url=http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=8303&forum=39&0]Avatar Use[/url]. Remember that these are policies that YOU agreed to follow when you joined my website. In fact, you checked a box which stated you have read and understand those rules. That said, when you altered our rabbit in hat generic avatar you violated those policies. By all rights I could have banned you but chose not to. It is hoped that you have taken the time to go back and actually read the policies this time around. ;) |
