Norm and I were talking, and wondered...

How come nobody's ever done a bio of Hardeen?

Hardeen Houdini-- how could you not know that!??

check with the houdini musesam in scraton Pa (not far from where I live)

they should be able to tell you any thing you want to know about him.

I seem to recall seeing some writings about him but not sure if it was a full bio.

hope that helps

It's a real shame no one has done this. I threw the idea out to Jim Steinmeyer once. He didn't bite.

LOL! No wonder why there isn't a book about Theo. He can't even find a friend on Face book. He should try Faceless Book.

I think it's purely a $$ game. Houdini sells, even today. Hence old D B Houdinii from the other topic. Hardeen was just HH's brother. Some would buy it, but I'm sure if you were to go to the trouble of producing a book one on HH himself would sell more.

Personally I'd love to know more about him. A book in the style of Patrick's Houdini:The Key (my #1 escape related perchase not including the Lambert) would be awesome.

Let's put this puppy to rest. Here's the answer.

Even when Hardeen wrote a book near the end of his life, he wrote it about Houdini. :)

...a good example of the difference between the ability to sell something, and the real value of it.
