Great offer Bryn. I have the UK Mindblasters from a while back. I seen the Blurb for this a couple of days ago. Delighted I waited now & I can get a copy of "The Safwan Papers."

Wow, this is a severely tempting offer Bryn. When will it expire (if at all)?
Message: Posted by: gmeister (Feb 14, 2012 06:01PM)
This is indeed a sensational offer. I grabbed the book the moment it was released. Bryn's contribution is greast, which you would expect given his creativity and the fact that the entire volukme is just top-notch. But this offer is so tempting, I may just have to buy it again!

On seond thought, if someone already has THE SAFWAN PAPERS and is planning to get MIND BLASTERS USA, I'll gladly go halfsies, which means that an early adopter (me) and someone in the "next wave" (you) can still take advantage of Bryn's wonderful generosity expressed through this excellent deal (provided, of course, that Bryn has no objections).
Message: Posted by: mindhunter (Feb 14, 2012 09:19PM)
Gmeister: No, no objections at ALL, and thanks for the kind words. I really want to get some more buzz going about Safwan, because I will be releasing my next eBook hopefully somewhat soon.

I forsee a LOT of people buying Mind Blasters USA, and if so, I would of course appreciate them getting it from ME. By including my eBook "The Safwan Papers" I hope to generate some interest in my work, and hence my next upcoming eBook. Mind Blasters USA is 350+ pages and 80 effects for less than $30? come on....what a great deal, and hopefully the inclusion of "The Safwan Papers" sweetens the deal. Peter Duffee has done us a great favor for keeping the price so low.

The ONLY problem I see in this is that MB USA is so good, I'm now on my second or third re-read, highlighter in hand, and it is taking away from me finishing my next eBook!

Thanks all,
Bryn

Mind Blasters USA is excellent, no matter where one buys it from, but based on this topic I'm REALLY excited about Bryn's new book.

Safwan was a ground breaker.

Thanks Bryn. And the kind words were certainly well-deserved as readers will discover.

Since Bryn has no objections to a split purchase (which means $15 each--you get Mind Blasters USA since you already have Safwan and I get Safwan since I already have Mind Blasters USA) please PM me if you're interested.

Thank you for that Don....I am very proud of Safwan, so that means a lot. Don's contribution to MB USA, A.I.R., is something that is WELL worth taking the time to learn.

As with MB #1 & #2, MB USA has some contributions from some of the biggest names in the field; just take a look at the list of authors. I know I'm including "The Safwan Papers" as a gift, but Peter keeping this less than $30 is in itself a gift. Some of the individual effects in there are worth more than that.

I already have Mind Blasters USA as well as The Safwan Papers but if anyone is in two minds, Bryn's offer is a brilliant chance to get what will be two classics of mentalism for the price of one. You can't get much better than that.

I just ordered Mind Blasters USA and The Safwan Papers last night, so far I have only read through MB and there is A LOT of great workable material in there. Some of my personal favorites were Patrick Redford's Ring Tone, Bryn's BOHT, Dale A. Hildebrandt's whole section, George Hickok's $400 Secret and Sean Water's Illuminati. This is a real mixed bag of nuts, great investment. Thanks to the contributers and of course Peter Duffie!

Jake: I'd love to have you chime back in when you have had time to read Safwan as well.

Will do Bryn, I am at the introduction right now which alone is an interesting story but I will post up some thoughts ASAP.

Thanks. I tried to include some personal stories and insights interspersed with the effects in Safwan.

Thanks, Neil....I appreciate the comments. I am hopeful SAFWAN will still at least be TALKED about 20 years down the line; "a classic" may be a little strong, but the moniker has, honestly, been applied to much less so I'll take the compliment and only time will tell. MB USA certainly will be for the price and number of contributions from some great thinkers.

Hopefully my next eBook, mostly the "user manuals" to my previously released single, physical, effects, with a couple of dark horses thrown in, will be seen as worthy....lol

THanks,
Bryn

Hey everyone, I am starting off my day in a great way listening to some Jim Croce and ready to share my thoughts on the Safwan Papers! To start, as I said when I posted earlier when I was only through the introduction, this book has something I wish I could see more in books on our art which is some soul. What I mean that there isn't just your standard description with methodology style, there are stories from Bryn's life at the time as well as some of the though processes that went into developing the pieces presented. I know this post of my thoughts probably won't be as impactful as the words of Neil, Osterlind or Banachek, but I will take a crack at it regardless and spoiler alert, I thoroughly enjoyed the Safwan Papers.

-Seven: Eat your heart out Derren Brown, upon reading the description and letting it play through in my head this sounded very fair in that almost scary Derren Brown force way which is interesting because if I am understanding right, this was devised before Mr. Brown's work graced our humble community. This is anytime anywhere and the method is gutsy and psychological...I dig it. I am a psychological junkie, I remember the first time someone unleashed a psychological style force on a slightly younger 14 year old magician school boy version of myself and how deep of an impact it made on me, I have been chasing the psychological dragon every since. All and all, regardless of whether you use this routine exactly as presented, there are some nice subtlties in here that really take this beyond a simple card trick.

-Bottle Cap Koran: A wise balding funny magician and mentalist once said "KISS, keep it simple stupid" followed by some psychobable about putting a deck of cards inside of a balloon, but this principle is here in presentation and methodology which is great. I will say for a coin under cap/cup, this will really mind f@#k (pardon the language) an audience, did I mention this is impromptu, has a passing the power phase and a prediction to tie it all up? Great piece, you will have the ability to make yourself and a spectator look like dowsing demigods on the go, nuff said.

-Your Lucky Night: Since my transition the last two years of my performing career from being a boyish tricky magician to a manish smug hypnosis infused psychological illusionist, I have seen more variations of bank night than I cared to see and honestly I just never liked the premise or most methodologies. Now, Bryn has really created something interesting here, something that doesn't look like a trick, as a matter of fact it plays just as you read it in the description, and elminates the whole sucker aspect of bank night which were two of my biggest gripes about all bank night routines. Osterlind and many other greats use Bryn's version for a reason and now I will be adding it to my set list as well, this is worth the price of the book alone as most have stated.

-BOHT: Ahhh simple and effective and a very interesting story behind how Bryn came up the methodology. This is basicly a which hand handling and methodology that I have taken a liking to since first reading it I believe in Emotional Mentalism by the great Luca Volpe, but it will either make you smile or you will think it will never work. This isn't for everyone and honestly I am glad because it leaves it to smug people like myself.

-Himberstring: This is probably the only pieve in here that didn't really impact me, though in saying that I am in no way saying it isn't workable and powerful, just not my cup of tea.

-The $4 Billet Index: Bryn, I see what you did there with the title, that's clever. But anyway, while I like to keep all of my work strictly bound to pieces I can perform anytime anywhere props or no props with almost zero prep, I will admit I have been looking into investing in a good index since reading into them more but most indexs I have encounter sound overly complex and difficult to construct plus anytime you crack open your wallet people think "what is that?" and awkward conversation begins. This literally costs $4 and can be constructed in like five minutes and is pretty invisible in a wallet or pocket, clever solution that I will be construction in the near future.

Great investment, recommended to serious performers and thinkers only please. There are some real gems here and worth more than the price tag, in my opinion...well and half of the most influential mentalstic performers alive today of course. Thank you Bryn for sharing your work, story and of course most importantly thank you for your service, I am looking forward to Safwan 2.0!!!!!!!

As of now, no. I am doing it to spur some interest in my work ahead of my NEXT upcoming ebook. When that comes out I may change some "bundling" around (or not...) but whatever I decide I am hopeful you will find it a great deal as well!

Paul:

The offer will... "change" at some point. The retail price of Mind Blasters USA is fixed, so I made it MY product I am giving away. The reason I am doing this is to spur some interest in my original mentalism ahead of the release of my next eBook, which I am hoping is within a few weeks. I will then be reworking the deal so the purchasers of my new book will get a break if they want to go back and read Safwan, if they haven't done so, but whatever I come up with I am hoping it will be considered a great deal!

Thanks for the interest,

Bryn

There should be enough between the two volumes to get you off to a start for a little mentalism show. Love to hear what effects you chose to include.
