Aqua Magic A Free App from http://www.appSTUDIO.co.il

Can be found on iTunes here:

Four brightly colored fish are swimming around in a bubbly aquarium. The four fish are:

Red with white tail (probably a Molly)
Black with red tail (probably a red-tail Shark)
Orange with white stripes (a Clown Fish)
Blue (could not identify)

The fish IDs are mine as I thought it would be nice to refer to them by more that color. But since the blue one is a mystery that will have to wait. Unless, of course, someone else can identify the blue fish.

The spectator selects one of the fish and after the secret move, the aquarium contains only several of the selected fish swimming about. Looks great!

There is one minor caution with this and that is that after about ten seconds, other fish reenter the screen so you no longer have only the selected fish. Easiest way to handle this is don't show the screen that long. I do think this is a minor defect in the app.

Check it out - it's free!

Someone pointed out to me that this app is no longer free. Bummer!

Handy tip: If you sign up for a free account at AppShopper, and click on "want it" under "Aqua Magic", they'll notify about any future price drops.

According to the chart on the Aqua Magic page, it was free from July 20th, 2011 to February 20th, 2012 - I think that's the longest temporary free app I've ever seen!

I imagine several people saw this post, downloaded it while it was free, and the developer raised the price to get some money from its newfound popularity.

As of today (3/28/12) there is an update to V2.1 of this app. Updates include:

Update Instructions (I don't see any difference as best I can remember.)
Links to magic apps (Links to their apps - ads!)

The app still has the problem that after 10 seconds (max) other colored fish swim into your "selected" screen.
