World Game Protection Conference 2008: Blackjack Challenge

Used to be a time in the late 50s, mid-60s and into the 70s where there were some top professionals counters who continually beat the BJ games, fooled the floor and surveillance and plied their trade, often as high stake players welcomed into the casino of Nevada and later in Europe.

Now the count has been a “dead number” and pretty much abandoned as a viable casino hustle years ago by the pros. Nowadays, many who have played casino BJ know about the concept and principle of the count, further immortalized for the general public in motion pictures, a myriad of books on the subject and learned by many in casino surveillance.

We now see the final and irrevocable demise of card counting and its coup de grace amid the fanfare of absurdity in the form of counting contests with trophies awarded.

Does anyone else see how ludicrous this is???
