Topic: The DINO EGG!! / Wolfs Magic NEW effect!!
Message: Posted by: Chance Wolf (Jun 19, 2012 02:58PM)
Hey folks,
We hard at work on a NEW RELEASE!!
The DINO EGG!!...OK..so we're still working on the name :)
A New trick based on an old Classic “Supreme’s Bunny Clown” effect!!
Dinosaurs are VERY HOT right now and we have created a trick that not only EDUCATES the kids but makes them shout, laugh and OOOOO n’ AWWWW!
A large Dinosaur Egg is shown as a story is woven about the history Dinosaurs and theories of Paleontologists. A doubled sided handkerchief is shown as you state that each colors represent differing views of the two groups of Paleontologists'. One group believes they evolved from Reptiles while the other believes they evolved from Birds.
A Baby Dinosaur peaks from the to of a broken egg shell.
He is removed to show he is BRIGHT ORANGE and GREEN STRIPED.
He is placed back in the egg with his head still showing and is covered with a YELLOW cloth.
With a magical gesture ( clearly turning the egg around ) the cloth is removed and the Baby Dinosaur has CHANGED COLORS and has FEATHERS!!
The process is reversed but now covered with a GREEN Cloth as the Dino changes back and forth until the kids catch on…rather quickly.
The kids shout to TURN THE BABY DINO AROUND and the Magi spins it about until finally showing the other side for a BIG MAGICAL FINISH!!
Clearly there is far more to the actual patter of the routine but you can get the idea.
This PACKS FLAT and Plays BIG as the ol’ saying goes! Made from our Aluminum Composite with our exclusive SUPER DURABLE Vinyl Digitally Printed graphics! Sure to last a LIFETIME!!
The prop is in production and we hope to have them ready in 3 weeks or sooner!!
Keep an eye on our website for new information or simply email us if you would like to be placed on the “Interested List”!

Looks like a great product, any idea on prices?

I may add though that I don't forsee many Americans using the evolution storyline though.

Wow looks fantastic, I love your stuff.
Message: Posted by: Chance Wolf (Jun 21, 2012 12:28PM)
Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words.
I cannot determine the price at this time as we do not know how long production will take until we actually do the first run. Please note, being placed on the "Interested List" does NOT commit you to purchase however it does give you "First Right to Purchase" so you do not get left out.
We will send out notifications once the effect nears completion. You can make your decision then.
I can assure you the highest quality prop as every year we learn more about raising the quality bar.

Thanks for the support guys!!

I saw the prototype at Chances shop this last weekend. This is definitely a winner. It's going on my list of must have items. Especially since the 2014 library reading program theme is Science!. This will be a perfect fit.

I can't say exactly however the images are quite large and very high contrast between each character.
I think it would play from a small group to a small school assembly type setting.
We tested it visibility in our shop. The art was easily seen from 60 feet.
I hope this helps and thanks for the interest!

I am anxious to hear what poeple think of the Dino-Egg. I know some folks have already receievd them so please post your opinions and/or questions abouthe the effect.
Personally, this prop makes me smile just looking at it.
I had a fun time creating the artwork and seeing it come to reality was really cool.
The response, in sales, has been great! I really appreciate it!
Thanks

HA! HA! Now THAT is what I call a GOOD REVIEW!! :)
I am glad you guys like the new DINO EGG! As simple as it appears, I must say, a LOT of R&D went into creating the overall prop engineering and graphics.
The little Dino is so cute I just love looking at the prop let alone seeing someone using it.
DINO's are HOT right now and the upcoming library Theme is "Dig into Reading"...or something like that.( can someone verify that? I know it has something to do with digging. Given this routine is based on Paleontology and digging for fossils, the routine is perfect for the new library shows!
We have 4 units left so act fast if you want to join in on the fun!
Thanks so much for the support and kind words.
Chance

Mines on the way I'm sure I'll love it!!!! Was the bunny clown the predecessor to fraidy-cat rabbit? Or the other way around? Or did they both evolve independently?

I have bought this to wear when I do my Dino trick for a warm up or running gag :)

Got mine today! Looks fantastic and the gimmick is flawless. Some really cute ideas to get you started in the instructions --this routine can get a lot of mileage if you choose to use it

I have performed mine 5 times and each time it gets a wow. The first time I performed it a child in the front row said “that’s real magic” there is no better review than that. I would not sell mine now for twice the price, it’s fantastic.

I'm looking to purchase a Dino Egg if anyone has one they don't need any longer.
Message: Posted by: MagicianTrent (Jun 17, 2013 03:06AM)
Chance, I know these are out of production right now. Any idea when you will be making another batch. I will send an email, however would like to get this and blow your stack! I know there awesome because I can't find not even a used one for sale. I have a few of your other products and really like them. I hope your not planning to shut down production, the magic world needs quality props like the ones you build!

I am thinking of using the Dino Egg in a children's show and I always use the Run Rabbit Run in my shows but many people think of Run Rabbit Run as a sucker trick but I do not see it as that. If anyone thinks that would be a mistake, please let me know and why?
Thanks

I bought two. Like any prop, what you need is a good routine. The quality and look of the prop is superior to most of the other things like bunny clown and fraidy cat rabbit. The ending is fantastic and there is a lot of fun with all the turn around gags as well. My advice is do not rush the routine. Create a good story to bring the kids in. Cheers!
