Happy Sunday folks,

What are your more favorite youtube balloon contributors? It seems like every time I search, I find more and more brilliant minds that have contributed their knowledge and skills. Over the summer, I learned a fair amount from a lot of sources.

I've listed a few at the bottom. There's some real brilliance on you tube. Cut and paste please, I have no clue how to post this info as a link.

signeddiamond http://www.youtube.com/user/SignedDiamond/videos?view=0
holly hopper http://www.youtube.com/user/hollybearyhaleystar/videos?view=0
mrfudge http://www.youtube.com/user/yourballoonman/videos?view=0
balloonsbyscott http://www.youtube.com/user/BalloonsbyScott/videos?view=0
flowerclown http://www.youtube.com/user/FlowerClown?feature=CAoQwRs%3D
mb floyd http://www.youtube.com/user/balloonanimals/videos?view=0

and I just learned of Warrenann today. His material seems highly useful. http://www.youtube.com/user/warrenann/videos?view=0

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Or something like that.

That's a great list. Felix Yoldi and Buster Balloon are also a wealth of information if you're looking for more.

Holly and Mr Fudge are two great resources that I use. Their videos are well made and the instructions are easy to follow but Buster Balloon is the best!

Yes, Buster Balloon is awesome. I just checked out his video "The big book of stuff". A brilliant mccombical deck routine using a magical coloring book. His assistant was brilliant, by the way. I laughed out loud and I don't usually laugh out loud while watching youtube videos, (save for epic rap battles and some remi gailard stuff and ask a ninja)

I kinda want to use the entire routine. Buster did some terrific acting when pretending to have messed up. The crowd loved it. What a great crowd by the way. There was a lot of love at that venue.

Okay, Buster's balloon gold fish to real gold fish was great. I've always been afraid to try this trick. It's an opener for sure. How long can these fish last out of water? I guess you could do a return from the dead routine with a back up. Or maybe a
Andrew Mayne empty bag to bowl of gold fish. Hmmmmmm...wrong forum topic and I started it.

Several years ago Buster came to Denver Colorado doing a class on his wristables (way before this video) and I mentioned this very trick to him. I then seen him put out a video on it year later. Glad he the idea.

Another underrated one that I like is Mot Buchanan.

Mot does great work. He also tackled a very ambitious project on his blog 365daysofballoons.blogspot.com/.

I like all the You Tube balloon artists that have been mentioned so far. I also have learned from:

Chi Twister http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcKND_aF-ZQ
Yonaimy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyA_BrWECDI&feature=plcp
unicaw89 (Cody Williams) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9_iZKhfiyo&feature=plcp
Michael Langerman http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpDwIqSDUf0
Mirae Page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nufIBxKotpw

I appreciate all the You Tube videos. I have learned a lot from them and I always try to buy their dvds if they have them for sale to thank and support them.

A young balloon twister who uploads regularely is "mr pockets". http://www.youtube.com/user/mrpocketsballoons

Horay! I got responses from some stellar twisters. Yes, Mot is awesome! Cody Williams is just about the fastest twister I've seen.

Happy Cabbie's Hulk is pretty fast and you can add the torso and head to a hat base to make a pretty decent hulk hat (loop a nearly inflated balloon to form a hat and instead of bringing the hat back to form a helmet, make a large n, this n is a highly visible and easy foot and leg structure).

I had liked the videos of SignedDiamond so much that I friended him on facebook last year. Last week he posted a comment on his facebook page that a woman who, in 1987 strangled pregnant Cindy Ray to death and took the baby from her womb, displayed ingenuity by chewing the umbilical cord to free the baby from its dead mother. I just can't understand the logic of posting anything about such an old horrific incident, let alone writing an opinion that would offend anyone with a child. I'm sorry, I know this is not the topic but his channel being mentioned in this thread made me think of his insensitive post. It's unfortunate what he did and I will no longer support his videos or his channel.

I feel like it's gonna get all flamey up in here. I know I've said and done things in my professional life that have come back to haunt me. To his credit, his quote occurred during the onset of fall and Halloween season, he's a young'en, and I found it scandalous and provocative.

Let your ban on him be a lesson to us all.

Howdy all, Dylan Gelinas (Signeddiamond) here.

I would just like to put a few things to rest and then I will be on my way. I really don't intend to post in this particular thread again after this although I am flatured to be included on your list Magicsteve.

Flopsie I am sorry you found my post offensive. It was written with irony and sarcasm so dispite popular belief I do not condone amature car key surgical procedures. The fact that you felt offended enough to denounce me publicly before reposting the same story you objected to on an open and unrelated topic truely speaks volumes of your dissapointment in my actions.

To my credit you did find that post on my personal Facebook page. People tend to wear diffrent faces for those around them (a person of your occupation may be familure with this). You had friended Dylan Gelinas, the young man who enjoys the works of Stanley Kubrick, case studies of the mentaly insane, and the Ukulele. I find these topics interesting and use my social networking space to share them accordingly with the people that choose to become my friend. Although my post could have been considered disturbing I can assure you that those at home watching a violently murdered woman have her chest plate removed on CSI Miami while enjoying dinner may find them selves a bit jaded to the topic.
You may have wanted to Friend my business page which features a more family oriented side of me. I can assure you that side of Dylan Gelinas would never post something like what you found so offensive. He just posts balloon photos and the occasional chuckle at a singing cat video.

Once again I am sorry that you were offended but I am in no way regretting anything that I posted. Your tolerances to factual events that were at one point printed worldwide in newsprint will not cause me to censor myself.

Yours truely,
Dylan Gelinas

Wow! That post was so different from the message I just found in my facebook inbox. Your public statement is so contrary to the things you accused me of, wrote about my upbringing and therefore insulting me and my family. I think there was something else about accusing me of slander? I can't remember it all but it sounded nothing like what your other persona posted here. I stand by my brief comment here about your lack of sensitivity and my confusion in reading your insensitive post about that murder. Like Steve said, you are young and hopefully one day will see things from another perspective.

As you may know my area here in New Jersey is going through so much right now that my plate is full with helping people and doing everything I can for relief efforts. My energy is better spent helping than defending my simple opinion. You may be better served organizing a fund raiser for the Red Cross than taking all the time to write this post and the nasty messages you just sent me.

I'm not interested in this going any further. Let's just drop it. I understand you have no idea about the bond I have with my son and you could never possibly understand how I felt reading your posts. We can agree to disagree. I do feel sorry that you felt the need to make that post, attack me privately, then post this so publicly. Let's please leave it at that and please do not send me any more harshly worded messages. Thank you.
