Hello!

This trick from Lubor Fiedler is amazing. The first time I tried it, the magic almost happened itself!!!
Now, the trick is not so easy, you need to have the 'knack' for it, it will need some practice. There is some noise also, but it can be explained by the magic happening...
The mechanism is clever, the material cool (now, everyone won't like the colour!) the trick nice!
Be aware you won't be able to let the spectator play or examine the material (or not all of it).
All in all, in doesn't reach the perfect touch of a crystal cleaver, but it's a great trick!

best,

merlin

Of course it's a great trick--it's by Lubor Fiedler.

The method is better than the effect.

Tip: I had trouble getting this to work right. Pen wouldn't "disappear" (owners will know what this means) properly or consistently. But then I found that if you give the plastic rectangle a subtle, brisk sweep by tipping the far top edge away and the far bottom edge toward you as you lift it to show the vanish, it always works like a charm.

I never had to "push" mine. I suppose some pens are more motivated than others.
