Does anyone know a good place to buy rising wands (5 in 1 wands) wholesale. I usually buy from Loftus, but they don't carry them. I have found some at madhatter magic shop for $9.00 a dozen, looking for a better price, hopefully! Any leads would be appreciated.

MAK Magic, http://www.makmagic.com, has the best price I've seen on rising wands.

Did you ever find them? I've got a few sources for rising wands that make good BOR items for kids. Let me know if you need help.

I never found any I liked at D. Robbins. I especially dislike the ones with the balls on the ends. I doubt those fool anyone!

Yes I did find them, here is the link http://madhattermagicshop.com/magicshop/index.php?cPath=154&sort=2a&page=2 however I cannot seem to find the rising wands or sometimes called the 5 in 1 wands on this site any more.

I just released my artwork for the rising wand, it's on my site: http://www.PrestoMagicProducts.com

I think the best place to pick up the rising wands (for BOR sales, especially for kids) is getting them directly from China. There are several websites that sell them, including alibaba.com. Just put "rising jumping magic wand" into the search and you'll find them! I pay about $.40 each.

Hope that helps,

Someone emailed me about the wands from D. Robbins yesterday. Has anyone had a good experience with those?

Here are my thoughts:

The only ones I've every gotten from D. Robbins are the ones with the balls on the end. I thought they looked funny, not like real magic wands that I use in my show. Plus, they cost a lot...$1.50-$2.00 each. I just saw they carry another one, which I've never tried.

Personally, I get mine from China. I don't think they're any better or worse quality, but they're smaller size, perfect for kids hands. The biggest benefit is cost.

My favorite rising wand for demoing is the Fantasma one. I replace the elastic with higher quality stuff and it lasts much longer. When I'm selling them after the show I tell people it's a "mini" or "kid-sized" version.

Has anyone seen the wands at the dollar store lately? I think they just came out a couple months ago. I saw them for the first time the other day.

I was buying these from Kingmagic in China for a while. I had been ordering 100 at a time at about 40 cents each, but now they're saying that you need to make a $200 minimum order, PLUS $150 for shipping on top of that. Please keep posting if anyone finds a better option for buying.
