I am interested in purchasing a used "The Thing" gimmick - where should I look?

Thanks,

Martin

Buy Bill's DVD. He shows you how to make one. It is a simple DYI project.

When you get 50 posts you can make your request in the Let's Make a Deal section of the Café that magically opens up to you.

How much is the DVD?

Lemartini,
A clever magician would go to the site of Bill Abbott and find the answer there.

Its in the kids DVD section on Bill's site:
http://billabbottmagic.com/online-store/Kids_DVD_Set.html

which probably explains how to make it (haven't viewed the DVD myself) - 2 DVD set is $40 + $7 for shipping

Lematini1050, if you are looking to buy used products, you have to spend more time on the Café and read the rules, then write some inspiring posts in the forums.

When you get 50 posts the "Let's Make a Deal" section of the Café and the Secret Banquet rooms will become available to you to use.

I hope we will hear from you more now and in the future.

I had thought of making one myself. Not much different from the old Glorpy, if you catch my drift. However, after thorough research, I've decided to spend the $200 for the Platinum edition. Everything is included, and the effect works great! Gathering the right materials and the work involved in construction...nope. Too much work.
