Dear friends, Can anyone suggest trick using Parallel Principle |
Hi ursmagicbalu What is the Parallel Principle? Best, markus |
Hi friends, It is a principle devised for locating cards by karl Fulves and later improvised by james randi. Further details can be found in Karl Fulves - The Shamrock Code & The Parallel Principle |
It's known to most people as clocking the deck. Fulves didn't invent it (it's in many old books), but he certainly improved it at the time (1979). Harry Lorayne also has some "must read" material on this (predating the two Fulves books). I have additional work on the subject, going beyond Fulves work; this can be found in my Tricyclic book. Curiously, a few interesting effects using this principle have been published in recent years, and their authors obviously had not keep abreast of the field, as the effects are taught using old (pre-1979) implementations of the idea. |

Thanks Doug for the details. Is there a pdf version of ur book available please |

No, sorry; none of my publications is released in digital format. |

Doug is referring to my THE EPITOME LOCATION. It's re-written, updated, etc. (as a "bonus", in THE CLASSIC COLLECTION, Vol. 1. |

It's pointless to clock if one already has the cards in a memorized order. You might find more success in the Workers section. |
