OK, the guy has a long history with cheating. He deserves a penalty. But one year... In my former country, France, people kill, rape, assault, steal, etc. and got just a few months. Sometimes, they're not even convicted, newspapers are full of such scandals. And you read this...

Also, if you are caught with cheating instruments it carries a penalty of 10 years in Nevada State Prison.

That sounds more like a problem with France than a problem with Ohio.

It was just for showing the big discrepancies you can meet with what they call "justice"; from one country to another, for the same crime, differences in penalties can be huge.
