The Verge covered this year's Magic Week in Colon and produced an outstanding video released just yesterday.

That was excellent! Gonna add Colon, MI to my list of places to fly to in my flying club one day. :)

Excellent video. My dentist here in Atlanta, who's from Colon, brought to my attention.
She new I was from Michigan and have attended many Get-Togethers.
She put it on the monitor while my teeth were being cleaned. How often does that happen.

Colon is fun to visit any time of the year! Last Saturday I drove myself and two magician friends the 2 hours it takes to get there. We had a great time as we had the magic shops to ourselves which gave us the time not only to visit with Greg Bordner at Abbotts and Rick Fisher at Fab but also to make some interesting purchases from them. If you have not been to Colon since Curlys Bar and Grill was rebuilt after the fire you have missed out on fantastic food, a great beer selection, and terrific atmosphere. It was nice to visit with Kathy and her son Casey (the owners of Curlys) in a more relaxed setting.

My dentist had mentioned she ate at the new Curlys Bar while back in Michigan and liked it.

Thanks for sharing Carl.
My father took me to Abbott when I was a kid. I was interested in magic back then for several years and couldn't get enough of it. Seven years ago my interest in magic picked up again. Now that I've been driving myself for over 30 years, I have no excuse not to visit again, especially since it's only 1.5 hours away.
