Topic: Best place to buy bulk cards???
Message: Posted by: Kuroth (Dec 30, 2014 08:54PM)
Hi.. Pretty new to this hobby.. Reading Mark Wilson's book to learn the basics..

Concerning tricks where you have a card signed,or tear up a card or burn a card etc etc..

Where is the cheapest place to buy "throw away" cards in bulk? And what brand?

I have seen some 12 pack sets of bicycle on Amazon for like $23.. And some 12 pack really cheap brands(wont get those)

Any other suggestions or sources are greatly appreciated..

p.s. Any on-line sites where you can buy like used cards?? I would think Vegas would be Full of used cards they cycle out of use all the time..

Is that Costco in the UK?
There is one near my work but never been. Usually just buy my playing cards over the Internet, but would never say they are that cheap.

In England, Costco is the cheapest by far. Just over 1 a pack. If you can exclude VAT with business etc it's even cheaper.

The UK Costco website has 12 packs for 15.49. You have to buy two (i.e. 24 decks) as a minimum order:

The jumbo index cards are even cheaper at 13.89, if price is everything:

I'm not a Costco member, so I usually look to Amazon in the UK. There's a 12 pack (6 red, 6 blue) for GBP 19.76 delivered:

I saw blocks of 12 in the post-Christmas sales area in a local hardware store(!)...
So I thought, excellent. I'll be grabbing myself a bargain here then. Then I saw the price: 48 per block. Amazing what some retailers think they can overcharge.

The large index numbers may be better - more visible over a restaurant table.
