Loved it! Especially liked the pace and the vocal expressions. Gave it more personality and texture than I've seen before.

I love this routine! Do you think you could put english captions on it? I'd be interested to know what you're saying.

I love it - the whole thing. Especially that "rolling the ball between the palms" vanish.

Thank you Donnie.

The first performer I saw do the Indian cups was Shankar Junior. H was very young and had a high voice. I decided to do it as an impression of him. I did it with a high squeaky voice and talked fake double talk. With my silly personality it played incredibly well. So now when I do the regular cups and balls I speak fake Hungarian double talk. :dancing:

Brilliant! I'm going back to practice more, now...

I advise anyone who undertakes learning Cheppum Panthum to 'practice deliberately',like musicians practice.

Remember, practice makes permanent.

That is quite nice, Eddie Joseph was a huge fan of the Indian style cups and balls, this is a great example of why.

Great routine and wonderful skills. I lived in India for 18 months, but unfortunately didn't see any magicians while there.

Would you suggest just learning the routine without needing to speak Malayalam? I do a lot of Indian parties, however Keralites (where Malayalam is spoken) are only a small percentage of them. Here in Australia, most Indian adults can speak Hindi as it's required in all schools in India, and they speak the language of the state they come from, and of course they all speak English for the most part. It would take some of us a lifetime to learn it in Malayalam which by the way is one of the more difficult Indian languages.

I'd love to get a copy of your book on the indian cups and balls Gary, but your website is no longer active. Are the books still available?

I did a quick search and see that the cups and the routine are now being sold through Murphys so it's available from several dealers.

Thanks Brian,
The Murphys set has the cups I don't need and a condensed book. Gary had a bigger more in-depth book that I'd like to get.
